Missing You

Description

Home-sick. When you live far away, it's easy to feel this way. Yet, we often forget that 'home' isn't always physical, and is often moving as we are.

Foreword

            “You really don’t know what it’s like until it’s gone.” The man thought glancing up at the stars.

            “I’m bias to groups with foreigners. Though that doesn’t mean I don’t like other mainstream K-pop groups.” She noted. “I’m just empowered by the foreigners.”

 

            “Empowered?”

 

            “It’s hard to leave family and friends behind, and leave a life that you’ve grown accustomed to for something so unsure and unfamiliar.” She glanced at the night sky with wonder. “I wouldn’t be able to do that. I’m not strong enough to leave.”

 

            “They aren’t that strong.” Tao murmured thinking of the moments he cried, the times he wanted to meet his family and leave his façade of being Tao to just be Zi Tao. “They break down too.”

 

            “I’m sure they do.” Tao turned from the endless night sky towards the girl. “We’re all human. We break down eventually. We become afraid of the unknown and run away when things become stressful. Sometimes, we become selfish.”
