She was really fond of reading. After having her final exams, she is finally free to do whatever she wants. She hopes to graduate soon. At 23, she felt her life is about to begin. This is the first time where she got freed from her bodyguards. Her dad was a diplomat and always asked her to bring along her driver and at the same time bodyguard  with her.

Her parents are now in a romantic cruise somewhere in Europe. As much as she wants to join them, she can’t because she needs to take her  final exam in college.

She asked her dad to spare her today. She will just be spending the whole day in their cafe. Her mom owns at least 5 branches in Seoul.

She brought along her macbook, her iphone and a couple of books. She was in a far corner of the cafe. The staff knew her and since she was very friendly to them , they didn’t mind the owner sulking in the corner.

She didn’t have any boyfriend. Not that she doesn’t have any suitors but actually, she got plenty. From School, son of her parents friends, or  within their circle. However, she doesn’t want them. She still believes in Love at First sight. She wants her own fairy tale, a happy ever after. In time, she knows, He will come.

Shin Hye put down her book and removed her eye glasses. She is half way through with the book and felt that she needs to take a 5 minutes break.

She lift her face, only to find a man looking intensely at her. She felt her cheeks burning. There was a moment when all she can see was that man. As if the world stopped and everyone is in slow motion. All she can hear is the panting of her heart.

“Excuse me Ms. Park, here’s the blueberry cheesecake” said their staff and thats the only time where she came back to reality.

She smiled and thanked her staff for it.

She wore her glasses again and pretended to be reading the book. Until she heard someone cleared his throat and approached her.

He was the man sitting across the other table and now standing in front of her.

“Excuse me, can I share this table with you?” he said smiling.

Shin Hye put down her book and said “ there are many vacant seats and you were pretty comfortable then. So why need to transfer?”

“You were alone and so am I. And I just thought we could just share a table. From the looks of it, you plan to camp along this cafe” he said

“I don’t talk to stranger”she said

“Well, we have been talking for quite sometime now. I believe were not that strange anymore” he said

“Do you know how annoying you are?”she said

“Let me share a table with you and I’ll be quiet” he said

She uttered a deep sigh and said “Ok, help yourself” and then continue with her reading.

He was still staring at her. She knows it and she put her book down.

“Will you stop that” she snapped

“What?” he said, smirking at her

“Stop staring at me”she said

“Then stop stealing glances at me”he said

Shin Hye felt her cheeks were hot, this man is infuriating at the same time making her feel excited.

“I am Lee Min ho” he said

She nodded

“Well, you need to reply back, by telling me your name”he said

“ Park Shin Hye” she said

“What do you do Shin Hye?” he asked

“I am a student. Just had our final exams and I am enjoying my free time  until you came”she said, smiling at him

“Well, that hurts”he said

She looked at him and asked “How about you, why are you here? From your look, its seems you’re working already”

“Yes, I worked as a Finance Officer in a firm. Owned by my family. I just needed a break. I want to get rid of my annoying father so I came here” he said

“Well, it runs from the family, I guess”said Shin Hye

“what?”he asked

“Being annoying” and then she laughed

Minho joined and realized that both of them are having fun.

Shin Hye set aside her book and they begin to really talk to each other. Admittedly, she felt too strange. Knowing him barely 2 hours ago, but she felt she known him for so long.

Minho was staring at her as she talk, as she smiled, laugh and she tuck her hair behind her ear , her tongue touches her lips unconsciously. Everything she does, seems so perfect to him. He felt he is drifting into her pit.

“Do you have a boyfriend, Shin Hye?” he asked all of a sudden

“Why would you ask. Isn’t it too personal already?” she snapped

“Do you want to know if I have a girlfriend” he asked

Oh no, hope he is free.. she silently pleaded.

“I don’t have a girlfriend , Shin Hye.. but I know soon, very soon, I’ll have one” said Minho

“Are you courting a girl?”she said, feeling pained if he will confirm it.

“No, not yet but I plan to court you”said Minho

“You must be kidding. You barely know me”said Shin Hye

“I’ve known you exactly 3 hours now and I feel I’ve known you for a lifetime” said Minho

“When you wake up tomorrow, you will forget about me”said Shin Hye

“When I wake up tomorrow, I will look forward to be seeing you again”said Minho

“You are too confident that I will see you again tomorrow”said Shin Hye

“I always trust my instinct and now he is telling me that I need to pursue you, that I never been attracted to anyone like this before” he said

“Did you feel it too, Shin Hye? Our connection? “ he asked

She was dumbfounded and was just staring at him.

Is he her ever after? She will never know until she tried.

“Let’s get to know each other” said Shin Hye

“Yes, but answer me truthfully. Did you feel it too?” he asked again
