Xiumin & Luhan.

Three words... only 3 words & yet so difficult to say...

So how would I let you know that I love you so? 

I just wanna (let) all of you to know that I love you all.

I just want to let YOU know that I love...YOU.

 

Because LOVE always finds a way...

I      Love      You:      Three     words      that      can      take      weeks,      months      or      even      years      to      say.       And      also      the      most      beautiful      words      a      person      can      utter      or      hear.

I just wanna all of you to know that I love you all.

 

It's not even a week since the inevitable happens. And it's not even a day since they heard his voice & saw his face. His

obnoxious laughter & the ugly weird face he made when the members  told him gossips stories about that day... when the

members endlessly how will he survive without his baozi... His Minnie-ah~ and that starry eyes staring back

at him when he went inside his room to have their privacy... Those very same eyes that never fails to make him realize

things he tried to deny before... for if Luhan won't be able to say it out loud, his eyes will tell.

 

Couple shirts, accessories, shoes, bags... coffee & soccer dates... those can be denied on the pretext of friendship or

fanservice. But this... this is new.

 

They just talked barely an hour ago over skype, yet Luhan was being a sappy romantic fool that he is. And despite the

slight grammatical error, it didn't stop him to feel like a lovestruck highschool girl his friends, comembers, even his

sister, labels him whenever he's with Luhan. No, he's not being conceited nor that  he doesn't acknowldege that it's for

EXO-L because it is. He just knew... knows the man too much. And Luhan hitting two birds with one stone's causing a

huge ruckus at the moment. He just wish that he could do what their fans were doing... he just wish that he could find

the courage to do what his heart wants him to.

 

Saying I love you too, isn't supposed to be that hard right?!? If Luhan could do it, so can he. But how?!?

"Minseok-ge, dinner's ready." Yixing called out to his hyung once he heard the soft come in~ and saw Xiumin sitting at

the edge of his bed, holding his phone with a deep frown on his face. He didn't like what he was seeing, not when Luhan

asked him to look out for Xiumin now that he's not around to take care of his baozi. And him being bestfriends with the

two, he can't afford to see one of them like this... not when he can do something about it, if he can.

 

"Hyung..." Xiumin looked up, creases still evident on his forehead. "... are you alright?" He's very worried and he prays to

high heavens that Luhan didn't have something to do about Minseok's behavior.

 

"I'm fine, Xing-ah." Xiumin smiles softly albeit bleary eyed.

 

"Ge..." He sounded like a whining child and maybe also looked like one, pouting and all, and if acting like that would

make his ge laugh even just a little, then he wouldn't mind.

 

"I'm just thinking." Xiumin let out a small chuckle then looked down on his phone again.

 

"About what?"

 

"Nothing..." It must be the disapproving grunt he made that pushed Xiumin to look up again, sighed a little and

answered a bit hesitantly. "I was just thinking about... this."  And Minseok shows him his phone and the thing that he

keeps on staring at. And he can't help but laugh a little on what he saw in there.

 

"Luhan-ge just couldn't resist sending his love for you, ain't he?" he teased but the small smile Minseok made didn't quite

reach his eyes.

 

Maybe because he knew them both too well... maybe because he saw the deep bond with his own eyes. The way the other

leads, while the other follows... the way they navigate towards each other. The way the other was too vocal & showy

with his feelings, like wearing his heart on his sleeve for the entire world to see, while the other was shying away from

public display of affection, be it on stage or behind tons of cameras, but silently reciprocating, just as strongly as the

other one does. Or maybe because Luhan just couldn't hide the obvious... And maybe because the swirl of emotions

behind Xiumin's eyes isn't that hard to decipher... at least for him.

 

"You do know that nothing will ever change between the two of you, right?" He softly asked.

 

"I know... he never fails to remind me that."

 

"Then what's wrong, hyung?"

 

"It's just that..." Xiumin heaved a long sigh. "... I don't know if the amount of words I said to him before he left was good

enough to assure him when I know I'm not really good at voicing what I feel..." Minseok looked very fragile & he's afraid

to do anything, like sitting beside him, for he might break with just a tiny movement. "I just... think that..." A slight

pause. "...he could find someone better than me... he deserves... better than what I can offer." The unshed tears in

Minseok's eyes before he looked away and stared longingly at something were good enough for him to understand

everything.

 

He follows where his hyung was looking at and found the glistening object atop his bedside drawer... a ring, the other

half of their love set. And remembering Luhan's ecstatic face when he rubbed their another of the many couple items

they have on their members' faces, while Xiumin had that serene smile while looking at the hyper deer with so much

love on his face... Minseok shouldn't doubt what Luhan feels or what he himself feels for the other.

 

"When Luhan-ge told me what his gift for you on your 2nd year anniversary, I knew he's way into deep with your

relationship." Xiumin snapped his head back at him, startled. "I even asked him if he's sure of what he's doing, of the risks

he's going to take once the fans catch up, of the possibility that you're going to reject it with all the consequence that

comes with it... and you wouldn't want to know what he did to me after that interrogation." He sheepishly smiled at the

still gaping man infront of him.

 

"He loves you, hyung. Even before he realized that he unconsciously blurted out on national television his fantasy of

calling you his baozi." When Luhan told him his endearment for the cute boy who mistook him for a girl, he was

laughing so hard but it's endearing nonetheless. "And giving you that symbolic ring was the second best thing he could

come up with aside from asking you to date him...if not tie the knot with him, if possible, in the near future." He added

and the flurry of doubt & fear in Minseok's eyes were slowly dissipating. " And you may not be as vocal as Luhan-ge but
