~Kim Myungsoo~

Meet Kim Myungsoo, Kim Soo Hae's younger brother. He loves his sister with all his heart. After all, who's left in this world for him to love? His parents passed away when he was 18 and she's all that he has left. He is very kindhearted and performs caring and considerate acts without knowing it sometimes. His curiousity always gets the better of him and he's one to express his feelings a lot. You may think he seems pretty cold and snobby at first, but once you get to know him, his aegyo comes on and you're left confused as to why you had negative thoughts about him. He visits his sister in the hospital practically every day and upon doing so, he meets Yoon Hye Ri, a girl suffering from blood cancer and someone who changes his life forever. 22 years old of good looks and a good heart, Kim Myungsoo. 

~Kim Soo Hae~

Kim Soo Hae... loving, beautiful, talented, intelligent. But best of all, the sister you've always wanted. Only one person calls her noona and one person only, Kim Myungsoo. Despite her seemingly perfect life, there is but one flaw. She suffers from a serious sickness involving her heart. She would have trouble breathing and she would feel as though her heart is gradually slowing to a stop. As a child, it has always seemed like a minor sickness. But as her life progresses, her sickness becomes worse and worse. She resides in the hospital every day as many doctors try to cure her sickness and help her get better. Kim Myungsoo visits her every day and sits by her bedside, clutching her hand, hoping she will win this battle. Will her situation worsen some more? Or hopefully get better?

~Yoon Hye Ri~

Troublemaker, always curious, and bursting with such a striking personality. Yoon Hye Ri is the name. She is one to always cause trouble for the nurses. Not one to sit still and lie in bed all day. She's always looking for an adventure or something to consume her boredom. She's really funny and smart, but can be a real pain at times. She's really cute and sometimes she uses this trait of her as a weapon. She becomes great friends with Kim Myungsoo, and maybe even a little more than friends. She isn't quick to realize it, but she may be developing feelings for him and he is too. Hye Ri suffers from blood cancer, but still tries her best to make the best of life. Something many cancer patients have failed to do. Little did she know it, but she changed Kim Myungsoo's life forever. Just as he changed hers.

"Why do you visit me everyday?" 

"I'm just curious as to how your doing. Is there something wrong with that?" 

"No there's nothing wrong with that, but why everyday?" 

"Aren't we friends?"

"I think so?"

"Well, I don't think so."

"Huh? Then what are we?"

"What do you think?"
