Description

The year is 2055.

South Korea has improved greatly in terms of technology and now is working on improving its warfare weaponry. Thus, they have introduced the DEMOS: Deus Ex Machina Operating System. The system is used in accordance with the humanoid autonomous soldiers: the Weiss frame. These are machines automated by a pilot and are designed as such to replace the commonly used artillery, taking war to the next level.

Furthermore, to develop and to amass more military strength, the government has put up the Weiss Academy; a military academy aiming to shape up and train potential pilots among its citizens.

 

Heiress to the Kim bloodline, Haejung Kim is sent to the academy to hone her pilot skills as to pilot her own family’s mecha frame: Byakko 009; an original model infused with the DEMOS version 2.0.

Accepting this choice, Haejung realized that her life will change forever.

Author’s Note: Okay, as promised… here is my new story featuring VIXX! Of course, this will be a mecha/sci-fi themed fanfic. I wanted to try something new, and ta-dah! Deus Ex Machina is the result~ HAHAHA. After all, I was influenced by the mecha animes that I’ve been watching so far (Code:Geass, Aldnoah.Zero). So I hope you enjoy this fic!

Chapter 5: So I know this story hasn't been updated since 2014, but... I'm still really glad I found it and read it. Everything about this is seriously right up my alley right now, the whole modern sci-fi action thing (plus mechs!) I'm enjoying Haejung's character, and she and Hongbin's relationship is just too cute. I'm probably going to be a little bummed when they don't end up together considering Leo's the male lead, but the way you're building it up is really nice!
Oh, and can I just say Ken's, 'it's not Jaehwan, it's Ken!' thing cracks me up? Haha, nice job!

Chapter 5: Hm... In my opinion, I think that you should finish this fic first. I know firsthand how hard it is to have multiple fanfics going on at once. Of course, it is your choice whether or not to start a new fanfic. ^^

I wanted more for this chapter! I want Taekwoon and Haejung to meet officially! I'm anticipating their meeting. Really. :)
