Jeon Jooyoung certainly did not sign up for this.

If people could really be classified into factions, Jooyoung would be most likely classified into Candor. Jeon Jooyoung is, for the lack of better word, honest. Actually, it counts into the fact that she did not really like the idea of filtering her thoughts because ‘the truth should be told’ and life would be simpler that way. Jooyoung never lied, even if the condition allows, or even need some lying to be done, she never did it.

But here’s the catch, her family; mother and father are both obvious Amity and her younger brother Jungkook would probably betray all of them to be in Dauntless. Jooyoung hated his guts and was never afraid to tell him that.

Then again, the world is not classified into factions so Jooyoung is stuck with her freaky brother and would probably never get the chance of sending him off to another community or society.

However, for that context, Jooyoung could also be sent to Erudite. She skipped a grade in middle school and never really understood why. All she did was answer a 9^th grade question when she was in 8^th grade because Mr. Jeon taught her well and she caught on well, unlike her annoying younger brother.

For Jooyoung, life is better monotonous and she intends to survive high school being invisible, and believe me she was doing well (save for the ‘Really? You skipped a grade! Wow!’ part) until her father got promoted and they had to move to the bustling city of Seoul.

Let’s just say, a group of Dauntless wannabe turned her life upside down.
