King yi Dan

 

 

This is my story, its not real so any part of history will be twisted so don’t be offended. anyway before reading this scroll to the very bottom and press the red bottom its rectangualar shape, just press it. and its after the orange words, these two songs represent this fiction so listen to it :)

 

Joseon Dynasty Year 1394,

 

a young man is seen galloping in the rain on his horse, he had some urgent news for his king that can save them all. dashing through the forest he raced to the palace, As soon as he reached there he entered the  gate, jumping down from his horse he  yells “my king, please come out.” he said urgently, as soon as he said that torches were lit and he was surrounded by the kings guards. Confuse he said “what is the meaning of this?”

 

“I see you came back, traitor.” general kang soo Jin said

“Jin, what is the meaning of this?” he said angry

“You are suspicious of being a traitor baekho, for disappearing for a year and a half.” he said, baekho moved back shock from the information

“a year and a half!” he said but that couldn’t be he thought

“Not only are their witness who claim that you knew about this disease and decided not to tell the king,  they also saw you helping the enemy to  assassinate king Yi Dan!.” he said a little louder

“THAT’S A LIE, JIN! STOP YOUR NONSENCE.” he burst out furious, he had every evidence against jin thats why he was here, but he never expected this.

“IF ANYTHING, YOU’RE THE LIER!” he counters back

Baekho pissed bold his fist with anger, he was about to say something else when the king stood up “ENOUGH YOU TWO!” he said, making them both look at him

 

“My king, please believe me I have not betrayed you.” baekho pleaded

“if what you said is true baekho, then where have you been these past few years?” he asks

Baekho looks down while biting his lips, he was contemplating whether or not to tell him, but at the same time he made a promise with ren that he wouldn’t tell or talk about this.

“Well, I’m waiting baekho, where have you been?” he asks again

“I’m sorry my king, but I can not tell you or explain it. You would not believe me.” he said sadly

“You see this he is a traitor.” jin claims, but he was soon shut up by the kings voice

“I WILL ASK YOU AGAIN BAEKHO, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!” he said getting upset

“I’m sorry my king, but I can not tell you, bu-“ he said not even finishing when the king ordered his mans to take him away to be locked up

“My king, please reconsider this” he said while struggling “I have not betrayed you.” he said but the king ignored him and turned around to leave.

 

One of the servants who saw everything watch as the king left before she ran to Jin in the rain, “what have you done jin?” she said

“Why did you do this? Is your hatred for dong ho run that deep.” she said now with tears

“You know nothing of what you speak Gaya, your Japanese blood has consume him turning him into a traitor.” he said

“But his your son Jin.” she screamed this time crying

 

He grabs her shoulder roughly and digs his nails in her skin, making her wince in pain. Gritting his teeth he said in a threaten voice “Kang Dong ho is no son of mine.” he said before adding “ I regret sleeping with you that night, you thought it was love.” he said before chuckling “your wrong, I wanted to destroy you and break you, because your disgusting half blood was irritating me. Printing its mark everywhere in the palace.” he said while watching her beautiful eyes stream with river, letting her go he turn his back on her missing the chance to see her fall on the floor.

Before he left he said “don’t worry after Baekho gets executed, you will be next.” he said surprising her

 

A YEAR AND A HALF AGO

 

king yi di, have been getting complaint about his people getting sick, this wasn’t the first time, at first he brushed it aside, but as it continues to spread and more people started dying he became worried. while sitting on his desk he wrote a message for general Jin, and told one of the servants to give it to him. Bowing the servant quickly exit the room and went to find general jin, who was at the training ground, doing roll calls. He pass by each of his students not caring to look at them, baekho friend was worried that he wouldn’t make it in time for attendance , just when he was about to pray he saw baekho hiding by the door. Quickly he told him to hurry up before Jin comes, quickly he ran and stood just in time for general jin to come to him and call his name.

“Here sir.” he said smiling, general Jin just ignored him and mark him before telling them grab their wooden sword to practice.  While he was about to sit down a servant came and delivered a message to him from the king, quickly he raced back in his office while baekho and his friend were busy sparing.

“You know, one day I’m gonna knock him out so bad.” his friend said

“Come on general Jin is not that bad.” baekho said

“Have you gone crazy baekho, the man yells at us for the smallest reason, not to mention his always up tight.” he said while attacking his friend

“I’m sure he has his reasons to act the way he does.” he said dodging the attack

“You’re always defending him, you sure you not related to him?” he asks taking baekho by surprise

“No way!” he said attacking his abdomen “now pay attention.” he said sending him flying

“Ok…ok you win.” his friend said, baekho took his hand out for him to take, when he took it he pulled his friend up and they smile like idiots.

 

Meanwhile, General Jin sat in his chair and read the scroll, he wanted to know why his king would send him there with the rookies, after all his main guards can handle the situation way better. Quickly he wraps the packet and head out. As soon as he was out the door he bumped into Gaya one of the servant, quickly she bows and turn around to leave but he stopped her “Didn’t I tell you to quite this job.” he said glaring at her

“I’m sorry, but like I told you before Jin, I wont.” she said while biting her lips

“I figure much, your rebelliousness matches your bloodline.” he said before passing right by her and walk away, Gaya release the breath she was holding, she knew this wasn’t the jin she remembered that night, but she still hoped that he would come around and accept his action.

grabbing the clothes she walk outside to hang it, when baekho tried to sneak up behind her.

 

“Don’t even try it Dong ho.” she said stopping him from hugging her

“Eomma, how do you know it was me?” he said pouting

She smiles and touches his cheeks “I will always know dong ho, your blood runs in me, eomma will always know the smallest things about you. And one thing I learn is your so call pranking people.” she said making him smile

“That’s why you’re the best, no one can take your place.” he said touching her hands lovingly

“Really?” she said making him shake his head

“What about your wife?” she grin

“No way! I will never get married, because eomma is the only one for Me.” he said stubbornly

“Dong ho, you will have to some day, eomma won’t be here forever.” she said sadly

“I don’t care, you’re here now, and that’s all that matters.” he said

Sighing she puts her hand on her hips “promise me that you will find a nice girl like your eomma.” she said, he shyly pouts and then hugs his mom “I promise.” he said

“Good, have you eat yet?” she asks before he could answer his friend called him

“Baekho hurry up, jin wants us to lineup.” he said grabbing his hand and dragging him away from his mom, Gaya looked at her son worriedly before sighing and getting back to work.

 

When the boys reached there jin was already informing them about the task, and how they cant leave until they know exactly whats going on. Baekho didn’t want to be away from his mom that long but he was also excited to leave the palace ground. They quickly grab the materials they would need and departure. While walking he could see his mom running after him with tears, telling him to come back safe. Smiling he shouts that he will come back and when he does she will be so annoyed with him for sticking to her side. When he said that she smiles and wipe her tears away, my dong ho, please be ok for eomma she said in her head

 

Time skipped and two weeks have past and a few of the rookies have died. The only ones left were baekho, his friend, two rookies and jin. While there baekho would write and observe many things he’s seen, like the people scratching a lot, having headaches, coughing and something red appearing from their skin. While walking with his friend he saw one of the ladies infected fall on the floor, pleading for help. He was gonna go and help her when Jin screamed “DON’T TOUCH HER!” he said coming closer

“Why not she needs our help.” he said

jin just glares at him and took his sword out “one touch can infect you as well, haven’t you been observing.” he asks angry before lifting his sword out and kill her, making the lady scream with tears.

“Stop it general jin.” he said shock “she’s sick, that gave you no right to kill her.” he said

Jin took his sword out and clean it then he puts it back “I have every right you fool, an enemy of the king is an enemy of mine.” he sad

“But, she was just a sick ajumma.” he said before adding “we could have help her.” he said sick to his stomach

“When theirs no cure, would you still keep them alive? Spreading the virus to the kingdom and infecting not only the king but also your mother.” he said disgustedly when he mention his mom

Dejected baekho sadly looks down while saying no, jin smirk before commanding them to gather all the sick people and take them to the abandon house they found.

Later on that night, baekho was practicing his sword because he couldn’t sleep. He kept having nightmare of people dying, screaming his name to save them. When he woke up he thought he saw someone looking at him while he was sleeping but when he shook his head it was just his imagination.  Sighing he continues to practice when he heard a sound, turning around he saw his friend tied up and being carried away. surprise he followed them until he reached the abandon house where they took him inside, he stopped by the window to see the two rookie pouring out gasoline everywhere and jin talking to some guy “so did it work?” the stranger said

“yes the virus has spread everywhere, the more this happens the more the council will start questioning  king yi Dan ruling. Which would then lead to his demise and me taking the throne.” he said, baekho tried to see who the strange was but Jin was blocking him

“Yi Dan will pay for what he did to my father and I, that’s why I will make sure he’s killed.” he said turning around to leave, baekho seeing them stepping out quickly hides in the bush, as soon as the guy step out he tells them to light the torches their he burnt the house. To shock to say anything, baeko held his breath, he watch as the stranger turn around with Jin, gasp he recognize the stranger as the former kings son, change. Backing away he accidently step on a branch, he watch as the two man turn their heads and gave the two rookies a sign to catch who ever it was.

Quickly baekho ran, ran all the way to camp to get his horse, while getting on he heard the two rookies heading his way. Quickly he hit his horse to move and he Gallop away with the two guys behind him. He made some turns and dodges some trees, when he turns around he saw them right behind him, shouting for him to stop. Turning around he hits a branch which made him fall backwards. He got up and continues to run, while running he came to a clearing. it was a beautiful field full of violet flowers and fireflies, at first he thought he was dreaming, but when the firefly land on his nose he panic. While panicking he slip on the mud and started falling, quickly he grabs the closest thing near him which was one of the violet flowers, but that did no good, because the next thing he knew he fell in the pond.

 

Next time

"sir, we found baekho horse." said the rookies

baekho ran after the kidnapper and saves the little girl

"who are you mister?" she asks

"what have you done to my son, jin?" gaya asks desperatly 

"you killed your son" he said before leaving her 

"your under arrest, for kidnapping." the officer said while putting the hand cuffs on him

"kitnappi?" he said not understand the word
