CHAPTER 5

ENCOUNTER WITH THE GIRL

JINWOON POV

     3 hours before our flight, Eunjung and JB was with me waiting for Mom at the airport, I told them that I saw the girl from Japan but the two weren’t interested about it.

“Shut up Jin! Just don’t forget about my cosmetics arasso?” Eunjung said while chewing a gum.

“Yah! Jin will not go there to buy some beauty products because you told him so. Jin, don’t mind her just enjoy your 4 days vacation” JB said with a smile

“thanks JB, don’t worry Eunjung I’ll try to buy all of it” I said

“anyways, where’s your Mom?” Eunjung said

     After 2 hours, Eunjung and JB left me alone, Omma is still not here yet. She should be here in a minute, I try to call her phone but she’s not answering maybe she’s busy with her meetings. While waiting for Omma, I went to buy something to eat and then it was a surprised that I saw the girl again. She was sleeping, sitting at the waiting area near me with an old man.

     I was curious if she still remember me? I stand up to walk near them but the old man stand up and slowly walk away. I think he’s planning to leave her behind so I followed the old man.

“Excuse me sir” I tapped at his back and asked

“who are you?” he replied

“you know how to speak Korean?” I asked

“coz I’m a Korean, what do you want?” he asked

“I’m sorry but why are you leaving her behind?” I asked

“what?” he said with a surprised

“I’m sorry but are you leaving without her? Coz your carrying your luggage” I said

“you can’t understand” he said and try to leave but I stop him

“is she your daughter? Why are you leaving without her?” I asked

“coz she’ll never be happy if she comes back to Japan” he said

“deh?” I asked curiously

     I don’t know why the old man trust me and asked a favor from me to watched over her daughter coz he didn’t even know me. We’ve talked for about half hour, he told me everything about the girl and I don’t have a choice but to help him and that girl. He left a contact number and his address in Japan.

“I know it is a big favor but please, this is the only way for her to know the truth about her” the old man said
