Teaser 2 - Zen Aiya and Han Sungbyul

Aiya couldn't help but beam as the babe in her arms, giggled and smiled.
She brushed through her child's thickening hair- her eyes soften as she kisses his forehead.
"Ah~ he's a beautiful baby Aiya-sunbae~" sung Han Sungbyul from the seat next to her- eyes glittering brightly in excitement.
"His smile is precious." Sungbyul made weird faces- as the baby giggled in amusement.
Aiya chuckled.
"He got it from his father." Aiya said fondly.
"May I?" Sungbyul's bottom lip jutted out- unconsciously- her eyes on the baby, as she held her arms open.
"Of course." Aiya smiled gently, as she let MAD's newest artist take her child.
Aiya took this time to observe Han Sungbyul- the girl, that Areum herself had decided- would be MAD's newest soloist- and with such a powerful voice, Aiya knew that Areum once again- never made wrong decisions.
Aiya herself was considered amongst MAD's Aces- alongside her fellow 3rd Generation Rondo member, Natsuyaki; Rondo's 4th Generation- Chiaki, Shion, Miharu and Jineun; and 5th Generation- Karin, Areum and Mingxia; with PaRaDiSio's Rahael, and Haerin- and back then- Daeyoung and Jaerin who made up SKYless.
It wasn't because they were the most popular, or the prettiest- but because they were main characters who led MAD and girlgroups to a golden age of sorts.
Aiya didn't feel sad to know that her time at the center stage was running out- she understood it was time to step aside and led the next generation relate to newer idols- maybe she felt regret, because she knew she could've done better- but, if she looked back now- she couldn't help but feel satisfied with what she had accomplished for MAD Entertainment.
It was time for the next generation to shine.
MAD continues to evolve- especially with the surprise introduction of Orpheus.
She knew her fans would be with her anyways-
She felt herself smile.
If she can help shape the next generations of idols- then she couldn't help but be pleased.
Chiaki had once told her, "Tinimbang ka, ngunit kulang."
'You are weighed, but it barely tips the scale.'
She hoped that they- the older generations- have indeed, tipped the scale enough-
She only prayed for the success of Sungbyul.
The success of the following generations of Rondo- or idols, that MAD will continue to produce.
And most of all-
the gamble Areum had decided to place on Orpheus.
NYX: I've no idea what to write, so I went with this. To be very honest, I have a hard time of letting go- and letting other people take the place of my idols- for example, how Super Junior is said to be replaced by EXO or something. I could never forgive EXO for that- even if it was the just the fans saying it. But I suppose, I'd like to think Aiya's thoughts reflect Super Junior's- that they will still have their fans anyways. It isn't about replacing- but it's about moving on and letting the younger generations have their time too- or something like that. On the topic of Aiya, she's undeniably one of my favourites- and of course an ace of MAD. I imagine her to be perfect in all aspects- not in the sense that she's good at sports, and at academics, and at talents- but rather, she's such an ideal female- you know? I picture her as a mother- as an empress, because it's like she deserves it. I doubt we'll ever go into depth with her story though. :D Hope you enjoy!!
