“I’m sorry,” Jongdae whispered.

She stopped in her tracks.

“Why are you sorry? I’m the one that was stupid enough to fall for you in the first place,” the bitterness evident in her voice.

She shut the door behind her, leaving a heavy-hearted Jongdae on her doorstep.
