~I don't know French I don't speak/write/read it. I google translated I'm so so sorry if it's wrong!~
Now that we all understand that please read. (If you wish to help my translations to French I wil be so happy!)

It was the only place in Paris she could find that had an English selection of books, “Wow,” she whispered picking another book of the shelf and adding it to the other five she already had in her arms, “Okay,” she sighed, “I’ll stop and read a couple.” She walked down further into the book store. It was loud for a place that people could read, yet the further she walked the quieter it got. “Ah,” she slipped into a section of lager encyclopedia type of books. “Kind of musky smelling but at least I can focus.” She smiled sitting on the floor setting the smile pile of books next to her. “I’ll start with The Diary of a Nobody.” The selection of book wasn’t vast however the classics seemed fitting for the scenery. Being in Paris for so long and only having the same three books to read, made her realize how much she missed reading different books. With every page she turned the more lost in the book she became lost in the story nothing bothered her.

“Ahh,” she felt someone stumbled over her feet, forcing her to look up from the book. He took her by surprise he was handsome and dressed really nicely; he glared at her for a moment before lunging into the shelf with her.

She was confused until she heard distant yelling; even though her French was rough she understood enough to know they were coming for him. “Hey,” she whispered at the man pressed firmly against the furthest wall, “are you in trouble?” she asked as the voices came closer, their footsteps becoming the only thing they could hear. “Well,” the voices were only a few shelves away. Thinking quickly she moved the book pile in front of him, and then sitting herself next to him, “when in Rome.” She muttered holding the book in front of their faces pulling his tie, bringing his face closer to her, “don’t move.” She whispered as the footsteps stopped in front of them.

They laughed and moved on and came back again, “il n'est pas ici!” one man’s deep voice snapped. “il a dû aller à l'arrière ! rechercher les toits !” he yelled out to the others that must have been in the books store, “enfants stupides.” He chuckled before he took off.

She peeked up from the book releasing the man’s tie, “Well,” she let out a deep sigh, “That was close,” she smiled moving her books out of the way. “Umm,” she thought for a moment, "Je pense que vous êtes en sécurité maintenant.” He didn’t respond, “Do you speak English by chance?” she asked hoping for a response. He smiled picking up one of her books reading the title, “I’m Kiko, well actually it’s Kiyomi Moon, erm Moon Kiyomi but I like being called Kiko. What’s your name?” she kept whispering too him.

“I like this book,” he put it back on top of her pile, “Kiko, I’m Kyuhyun. Your French is horrible.” He smirked standing up fixing his tie and adjusting his jacket.

Kiko wasn’t sure if she should be offended or not, “Yeah,” she sighed, “That happens when you leave one country for a new one. I hope the rest of your day is safe.” She snatched up her books leaving him in shelves, “How rude.” She mutter waiting in line, “first he won’t talk then when he does it’s to insult me?” she sighed moving up the line to the cashier, paying her and leaving as quick as she could. “At least I don’t have to see him again.” She smiled walking down the road. ‘Too bad he was really cute,’ she thought passing by several couples, ‘he’s too handsome to be single anyway. What am I even thinking? He’s a weirdo who doesn’t want to talk until after I keep him from getting into trouble!’ Kiko walked up a set of stairs and into a brick apartment building, riding the elevator to her floor. ‘I mean he didn’t even say thank you. I deserved at least a thank you right?’ she unlocked the door to her studio apartment, dropping her bag onto the table next to the entrance. ‘I could have gotten into some serious . Oh my god what if he’s a wanted criminal and I helped him.’ Kiko crossed the small room, dropping her paper bag of books on the coffee table, and opened her large window overlooking a small river. “I probably just made myself an accomplice to something and I’m not even sure what. Ahh,” she flopped down on to her couch covering her face with a pillow, “Why do I help people?” she groaned into it.
Kiko put the pillow in her lap leaning over grabbing a book blindly out of the brown bag, “Ha,” she sat back, “The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad,” she read the title, “was he trying to tell me something?” Kiko laughed to herself sitting back on the couch reading the first chapter.

She must have read for hours when a soft thump bumped against her hand, “Oh,” she smiled, “Totoro you’re early,” Kiko put the book down petting the black cat with a white muzzle and toes, “or maybe not.” She laughed looking out at the lights off in the distance surrounded by darkness. “I just got lost reading again, and you must be starving let’s get you some tuna.” Kiko stretched up going into the kitchenette grabbing a small can
