Anyone who knew the assassin perceived her as cold and heartless. She had to be, to be able to kill in cold blood and feel no remorse. But when she is told to train a kid who goes by Bam Bam, she finds herself reluctant to see the red of her world taint the pure white of his.

warnings - mentions of violencenotes - i just had this idea, and i really wanted to write this orz. i would have put this in my amber collection, but i wanted this one to be a standalone just because i feel like it wouldn't fit in in the collection. honestly, all i can say for this is that i've been reading too much naruto (the latest chapter killed me. well, 614 killed me, but the latest chapter made it hit home OTL), fairy tail, and bleach. not to mention, i've been playing too much league of legends over the summer. and so, this story idea was born. i suppose it's a tad cliche with the assassin theme, but i just find it intriguing, and dark!amber is always interesting, especially when you throw a baby bambam in there.
