When one thinks of SM Entertainment, immediate thoughts revolve around the company's popular bands who have paved their way to immense fame and glory: SNSD, Super Junior, SHINee, BoA, f(x) and many more. Now, SM has decided to grace all kpop fans with another girl group, vastly unique than the cute, y SNSD or the contemporary f(x): SASSi. SASSi, a six member girl group, is mentioned to have a sassy, charismatic image oozing with fierce confidence that makes them unforgettable. Just like previous bands, SASSi has undeniable in-sync dance skills with tantalizing vocals.  

Lee Soo Man has released the following statement about this latest group: 

❝These girls have extraordinary talent, I've watched them carefully over their trainee years and am very excited for the girls' debut to unlease their sassiness to capture all your hearts.❞ 

When asked about the group's intriguing name, Lee Soo Man chuckled and responded with a sly smile: 

❝If you're assuming these girls are cocky and arrogant, than you're mistaken. In fact, these girls are honestly humble about their fabulous talents when complimented. But when on the stage for a performance, these girls have powerful stage presence that gives them a sassy edge. They're the perfect idols, humble backstage but sassy onstage.❞ 

Many fans were interested in this new girl group and responded with: 

❝No more cute girls, here comes the charisma!❞ 

❝Omo~, I can't wait for their debut!❞ 

❝Since they're from SME, I have high expectations. Hopefully, they'll win me over.❞
