Coughing, Emperor Yixing finds himself spitting out blood, worrying about how long he'd still last in this world. It has been years since the

Emperor had this situation. It started from a simple cough, which was ignored by the King for the past years, and had come to a very critical situation,

making him as he is right now, bedridden and unable to move, only waiting for his time to come.

Sensing that his end is near, he signals his assisstant and calls for his one and only child, Prince Luhan, who'd soon inherit the throne. 

       Prince Luhan had always been the almost-perfect man for every single lady that had ever existed. Smart, handsome, and very charming to

everyone he talks to. He gets what he wants easily, as he can swoop every girl's heart without a single effort. The sad thing is just that - as soon as he

swoops the heart, he plays with it, and breaks it right away. 

        It has always been expected for the Prince to rule the kingdom greatly as his strategies in a young age were used in the past battles, where each

of them the kingdom claimed victory on. There was just one thing that restrained him from claiming the throne - he hasn't found his significant other.

        It is the Palace's tradition and rule for the past centuries, for the Prince to have his wife first before claiming the throne. They had always believed

in the saying that 'In every man, there is always a woman behind' and followed this, as they believed that a Queen is necessary for support to the future

King.

        The Prince enters the room and sees his bedridden father, bowing to him in respect, "Your Majesty, someone told me that you called for me". The

Emperor saw his grown-up son and tried to utter words with difficulty, "My Son, I think I don't have much time left; you need to get ready for the throne;

hold the Princess Selection"

and with that, the Emperor released his last breath.
