this is not your ordinary, normal writing contest merely because the rules, prompts and prizes are a bit different. The contest is called 'play', 'akdong inspired' and 'small-scaled' for reasons and that is because one: akdong's debut album is basically perfection. two: akdong has been growing on me and the rest of south korea. three: the prizes is not all that grand and great as I have said before. And also, rather than having one ultimate winners and runner-ups, I decided to just chose the best story in each genre. Prizes and categories are:
Best in slice of life: 125 karma points, a drabble collection of any of their top 5 otps, upvote on all of their stories, full review on all of their stories plus writing advices.
Best in angst: 125 karma points, drabble collection of their top 5 otps, upvote and subscription on all of their stories, full review on any of their stories
Best in fluff: 100 karma points, oneshot of their favorite otp, subscription to all of their stories, full review on any of their story and writing advices
Best in romance: 100 karma points, oneshot of their favorite otp, subscription to three of their stories, writing advices and a collaborative oneshot with the winner and me.
Best in crackship: 75 karma points, three drabbles of anybody and any pairing thy wish, upvote and subscription to two of their stories, collaborative oneshot with the winner and me

This contest is really based on having fun and just writing what you want and who you want with whatever you have in your sleeves. The przes don't define how much of a winner you are, it's the effort you put and exert in the contest.

01. Subscribe. This is, of course, a must for everyone participating and willing to enter merely to keep you updated on the happenings of this contest.
02. Akdong doesn't have to be the main characters of the story, but they have to be mentioned at least twice or have a sort of 'cameo'. They can be the minor or side characters.
03. OCs are not allowed. I repeat, OCs are not allowed. Why? Because this contest will be based on crackships and otps. So meaning, entries must be about idols x idols and NOT idol x ocs. and yuri pairings are NOT allowed as well. Only boy x girl pairings.
04. Oneshots are not allowed. The entry must be at least 3 chapters short and 8 chapters long. Each chapter must contain 500 words or above.
05. Password is give love.
06. Story must be your own and made exclusively for this contest. Entries before the 10th of August are considered invalid and disqualified immediately.
07. Beta-readers and co-athuors are not allowed. I want the story to be only of YOUR OWN work and nobody else's. Be original, nam sayin'?
08. Fill out the form correctly.
09. Maximum usage of prompts is four. Prompt/s used must be stated in the foreword along with the banner (the one under #hey).
10. Romance, Angst (dark or fluff), fluff and slice of life must be associated with the story as the main genre, any of these will do and you can even combine them if wanted (eg. romance, slice of life story ; angst, romance story.)
11. Deadline is on December 30, extensions will be given out to those who are in dire need of it.
