Donghae walked out of his apartment shared with s and down the stair towards the ground floor.

He walked out of the apartment, towards the flower shop that was at the corner of the block.

He stepped inside and saw that they were about to close.

“Excuse me, is it okay if I buy a bouquet of flowers now?”

The lady behind the counter looked up.

“What flowers would you like?”

She asked, standing up.

Donghae smiled to himself and said,

“Pink roses please.”

“How many?” She continued to ask as she walked towards the roses section.

“11.” He said, even quieter than before.

When the lady had finished getting him the bouquet and he had paid for it, he continued to walk on, turning corners every two to three blocks.

Just as he was about to come face to face to where he was heading to, his phone vibrated in his pocket and he stopped walking and took out his phone.

Hyung…tell me if you want me there arraso?

Donghae smiled at Kyuhyun’s text.

Ne…I should be fine I think…

Are you sure?

Kyuhyun instantly replied back.

Donghae smiled.

He’s dongsaeng was really caring.

Ne.

Donghae slid his phone back to his pocket and turned the last corner.

There, in front of him, was the Seoul Cemetery.

He walked towards the gates and pushed it gently open.

Once he was inside, he closed the door behind him quietly and continued to walk on, his feet taking him to where he was going to.

It’s November 7th.

***

“Oppa! When are you coming to pick me up?! You’re so late!” Donghae heard Min say to him through the phone.

Donghae laughed.

“I’ll be there in a second okay? I have to finish this photo shoot before I’m allowed out. Be patient arraso?”

He could imagine her pouting at what he had just said to her.

“Fine…”

Donghae heard her say reluctantly.

“Donghae-ssi! It’s your turn!” The photographer called out to him.

He covered the bottom part of his phone and shouted back,

“Ne!”

He put the phone back in his ear and said to Min quickly,

“I have to go now. I’ll see you soon okay? Love you!”

Donghae hung up and hurried towards the photo shoot.

Min sighed at herself.

She didn’t even get a chance to say bye to her three year boyfriend.

Who also happened to be one of the hottest guys in the biggest Korean boy band Super Junior.

She walked slowly down the street, her heart feeling sad.

She wanted to spend the whole day with her boyfriend seeing as it was their anniversary.

But it’s already 5pm and he had given her every excuse possible.

“I have to film for a show that’s going to last for the next two hours!”

“I have my radio show on!”

“I have a photo shoot!”

“I promise I’ll be there soon!”

Min sighed.

It was hard work dating an idol but she knew that she would go through with it.

After all, she had already dealt with Donghae’s busy schedule for the past three years.

She just didn’t know how long she could deal with it.

When all her friends’ boyfriends were with them the whole day during their anniversary, her own boyfriend was busy working and boosting up his career.

She didn’t want to be a burden to him so she didn’t say anything.

Min looked up and saw that the lights had turned green, proving that she could walk through the largest and busiest intersection of Seoul.

She stepped off the curb.

Donghae was always busy.

It was so rare for him to have a day off.

And even when he did, Min knew that he needed rest because of his busy and packed schedule so she never complained.

She wanted a boy that could make her feel safe.

She was nearing the middle of the crosswalk when she heard a screech.

She turned in the direction of the sound and saw the head of the car racing towards her.

Before she had a time to register what was happening, she was on the ground.

Her whole body hurt.

It felt like as if she was cracking.

Her vision began to blur.

She head began to whirl with thoughts.

Donghae’s smiling face covered her eyes.

She smiled gently to herself.

“Miss…Miss! Gwaenchana?” She heard a man’s voice call out to her distantly and felt a warm pair of hands around her back against her cold and lifeless skin.

She nodded and her head throbbed.

“Gwaenchan…”

Her eyes began to close.

Her head began to feel heavy.

“Min~” She suddenly heard Donghae’s cheerful voice in her ear.

“Oppa…saranghae…”

Min’s head rolled to the side and her heart stopped beating.

*

*SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY*

“Yeboseyo?” Donghae said to his phone as he rushed out of the photo shoot, pulling on his jacket.

“Is this Donghae? MinYeon’s namjachingu?”

Donghae froze.

He knew something wasn’t right.

The voice was so formal and…

And so sad.

“Ne…is…there something wrong with her?”

He asked as he stood there, listening to the cars rush by in the distance.

“Ne…she was involved in a car crash only a few minutes ago…”

Donghae’s heart froze.

“Is she…” Donghae asked, a lump in his throat.

But he already knew the answer.

Before the voice even spoke.

“Ne…she died.”

Donghae dropped to his knees.

It’s November 7th.

 5.10pm.

***

Donghae slowly dropped onto his knee’s in front of her grave and slowly put the pink roses on her grave.

He looked at his watch.

5.10pm.

He looked at the head stone.

A tear slipped out and he wiped it away.

“It’s been 6 years now…we’ve been together for 6 years now…”

He trailed off.

Tears were dripping down his perfect face and he said nothing more.

“I want to see you again…even if it’s for just the last time…”

He knelt there, in silence.

The wind began to pick up.

Suddenly, he felt a pair of warm hands wrap around the shoulders and he flung around.

There, standing in flesh, was Choi MinYeon.

Donghae’s eyes widened.

“Min…are you…”

She shook her head.

“I’m not alive no.”

Her voice was still her own, except Donghae could tell, having been a singer for many years, that there was a tinge of coldness in her voice and he knew that it was because she was dead.

Donghae didn’t say anything for a moment.

“I’ve miss you oppa…” She said after awhile.

Donghae looked up and he smiled sadly at her, a tear falling out of his eyes.

She smiled back at him and lifted her hand towards his face, wiping his tear away.

As she was about to bring her hand back, Donghae grabbed her hand and put it on his face, feeling her warmth on his face.

He looked at Min.

“Mianhae Min…I didn’t mean to ditch you three years ago…I had…”

“Shh…” She said quietly at him.

“Let me talk okay?” She asked after awhile and Donghae nodded.

It was the most he could do for her.

“I was always complaining you know? To my friends, to my family. It seemed like we had never had a day to ourselves where we could really be a boy and a girl in love.”

Donghae didn’t respond.

“But I knew that you put your career first so I didn’t complain and I didn’t want to burden you.”

Donghae began to protest.

“Oppa. You promised.”

Donghae sighed and closed his mouth.

She smiled at him and took a step towards him.

She removed her hand from Donghae’s cheek and wrapped it around his waist.

“I love you.”

Donghae didn’t say anything for a minute but then he wrapped his hands around the warm body of Min.

“I’m so sorry Min…I didn’t want things to end that way…that day…I wanted to give you this…”

Donghae let go of Min and dug into his front jean pocket.

He took out a small and delicate diamond ring.

Min stared at the ring and then back up at Donghae.

“Will you marry me?” He said quietly.

Min covered and tears began to drop out.

Donghae knew that she wasn’t going to answer so he took her left hand and slipped the ring into her middle finger and kissed it.

“It’s meant for you.”

He said quietly and smiled at Min.

Min looked at the ring in her hand and then back up at Donghae.

She hugged him.

“I love you Donghae oppa…forever.”

She said and Donghae could tell that she was going to leave soon.

He looked down at her and kissed her.

Her warm body began to turn cold as they kissed and he saw that she was quickly disappearing.

Before she had vanished completely they said together,

“I love you.”

She was gone.

She had taken his heart with her.

“Hyung! Gwaenchana?”

Donghae turned to see that Kyuhyun and the other 8 members of Super Junior was standing there, watching him.

Donghae looked down at the grave to his right and then back up at his friends.

With a smile, he began to walk away.

“Gwaenchanayo.”

He said and hugged Kyuhyun.

“Jinjja?” Kyuhyun said after the hug.

Donghae smiled.

He turned back towards the grave of his deceased girlfriend of three years.

“Ne.”
