Tides of Change
Description
It’s been six months since the famous Lee Donghae decides to quit and leave famous KPop band, Super Junior. Nobody knows why he left or where he went afterward, except for Lee Donghae himself. Truth of the matter is, Donghae has a secret that he’s known about since the debut of Super Junior, a secret that he’s lived with for five years of his life, yet one that he’s never once shared with anyone else. Not even his mother or his blood-related hyung, Lee Donghwa, knew about this deadly secret, and he’s determined to keep it that way. Donghae was ready to live the rest of his life in solitude, away from the limelight, away from Super Junior, away from the hustle and bustle of his stage days, and for six months, his plan was going perfectly.
That is, until a girl by the name of Park Seungmi unexpectedly enters his life.
Seungmi is airheaded, a child compared to her true age of twenty-three, and Donghae knew from the moment he first opened the door for her to use his apartment bathroom that she was different than anybody else he’s ever met. Soon after he meets her, though, Donghae notices that some things about this mysterious girl just doesn’t add up.
She never invites him to her apartment, even though it’s right next door to his.
She never talks about her past life, even though she assures Donghae that she had a normal family and childhood.
She never is seen with anybody else, even though she insists she has many friends.
What is it about this girl that is just so… strange?
Donghae doesn’t know. All he knows is that the moment he met this girl, the moment this girl came into his life, his plans of dying in seclusion were shattered. He is suddenly reunited with people he never again wanted to see for the rest of his days. He is suddenly smiling again, something he hasn’t done for the past six months. He is suddenly leaving his apartment on his own accord, something that he hasn’t had the motivation to do ever since he went into hiding. He doesn’t know how it happened, he just knows that he owes it all to this mysterious girl, Park Seungmi.
But with tides of change, do things always end up good?
Or can you look forward to a tragedy?
Foreword
Hello one and all!
BamxAngiee is back with yet another story! Yes, I realize that I've gone on hiatus with my other stories, but I just couldn't help with posting this one since I've got the poster and everything already.
I will for sure be finishing this story, but no worries. It won't be a very long one like my Emotional Series. At the most, this story will be fifteen chapters, if not less.
This was originally set out to be a simple, little one-shot, but after writing it, I immediately realized that it'd be way more than a one-shot, so I decided to turn it into a story instead! It's just a little something I decided to write one day when I was feeling a bit down on things, so let's see where all this goes, neh?
Thank you for taking the time to read this! It really means a lot to me!
Disclaimer: I do not own Lee Donghae or any members of Super Junior. Park Seungmi and the events of this story are purely of my imagination and belong solely to me. Any similarities between this story and any other story is purely coincidental.
