Chapter IV The dreams vanished before sundown. Sora had always been restless in her sleep. She shook her head, frowning in annoyance.
Such things happened to her, had happened to her. She might not remember much of her life before, only snips of it. But she knew she wouldn't have a death wish on herself. She has to get somewhere, anywhere as fast she could without drawing attention to herself. That was her plan and still is.
Sora should have known better than to trust Jungsu. There is no reason to trust him. Not anyone. His grandmother she hadn't trusted. Not really. Not even her brother, even if he said they were blood related. Even if they said he was. Even so... **
Managing a tight-lipped smile of thanks. Sora was still paranoid. It's wasn't the first time she was poisoned with food. If not that, it was some other component that was harmful to her body. And it won't be the last if she was caught again. The elderly woman just stared at the food and to Sora. Sighing in annoyance the woman put down the plate on a small table near the door and left without a word.
She waited until the footsteps faded and waited a few more just in case. A habit she couldn't break. Eyeing the plate she got off the bed and cautiously walked over to grab the plate of now cold food. Lifting it up closer to her face Sora sniffs and starts gagging from the smell of the chicken. Putting the plate down she stepped away and hurried ba
