Zhang Xinyuan, is a Chinese-Korean student. She's very obedient and because of that she obeys her parents very well. She studies well but doesn't have much of a social life due to her father believing that it would cause her to get distracted from what she really wants to do in life. Ever since she was a little girl she took singing and dance classes hoping to perform on Broadway after college. But as she starts to mature and finds her true self and interests, she decides that she wants to try new things and secretly begins taking rap classes at her arts school. Every year once a semester ends students perform to show their growth that they had learned. After finishing a duet with Nam Taehyun, her father's friend's son also her future fiancé, she gets approached by a few of her male classmates. Out of the males that she meet that day only one person stood out, Kim Hanbin. She begins to secretly watch him and finds out that he is a terrific dancer and a rap tutor. The two becomes close friends and soon became lovers with her father's disapproval.
