Tired after having a long losing streak in a game, I decided to sleep. After a few minutes laying down on my bed, You friend texted you.

"You, me and a few others are going to the Aquarium tomorrow. Bring money because we are paying our own tickets. 1 PM. Be there early."

After thinking for a few minutes about going or not, I decided to follow them to the aquarium to have a change of pace once in a while. “I have a bad feeling about this.” I thought to myself.

The next day arrived, I surprisingly woke up early. I have gotten ready and went to the aquarium early because I got nothing else to do.

I checked my watch and it showed 12:30 PM. “Just in time” I thought. But 25 minutes later I received a text from your friend again.

—Text Message—

"Heyyyyyyyyy, yeah… about the outing, we pretty much cancelled it because everyone suddenly has something to do. Sorry. I’ll make it up to you."

Being furious, I cursed and think of every torture you could do to him once I meet him. Since I was there, I decided to just go on for a walk to clear my head.

After walking for 1 hour or so, I come across this girl who looks very familiar. She turned around and she was actually Furuhata Nao from SKE48. Me, being nervous was just looking at her and thinking how incredibly lucky I am.

I felt like a ert so I decided to look away. I tried to walked away but I heard someone fell down. When, I looked towards it, this kid fell down on the floor and started crying. Don’t know what to do I approached him. “erm…erm…kid, why are you crying?” The kid said he was lost and looking for his mother. I panicked and didn’t know what to do.

I looked around but little did I know Nao approached the kid also after me. She was squatting next to me and comforting the kid.

"What is this cute boy name?" asked Nao.

"I’m William." answered the kid.

"Eh, William. What a nice name for a handsome boy." said Nao and giggled at the same time.

"Wow, this is the power of an idol. Not sure if I’m impressed or actually scared."I thought to myself.

"Come on William. Let’s find your mother with this Onii-chan… Who is named?" said Nao.

"*Insert your name here*" I replied nervously.

She kid nodded and got up to look for his mother. Nao sees me directly at my face and tells me “Calm down a little bit I’m not doing my SKE job now. Today is my day off.”

I took a deep breath an eventually calmed down. We made eye contact, she smiled while I just looked away blushing.

"Look look Onee-chan. Onii-chan is blushing." said the kid while laughing.

Nao couldn’t help but to laugh at me too. Hiding my embarrassment, I decided to buy the kid a balloon. We continues looking for his mother while talking.

Few minutes later, we found the kid’s mother.

"Mommy!!!" screamed the kid.

"William!!" screamed the mother too.

They ran towards each other and hugged. It was a nice and touching scene. I took a gimps of Nao and she was crying.

"EH EH EH!!! Now you’re crying!! WHAT DO I DO NOW?!" said who while panicking.

"Silly, I was just touched by looking at them embracing each other." she said with a giggle while tears are flowing down her cheek.

I then proceeded to take my handkerchief and give it to her so she could wipe her tears.

She thanked me as she took my handkerchief and wiped her tears.

The little kid then tugged my shirt and he thanked me and Nao for helping him to find his mother.

I pat his head and told him “You’re welcome.” The kid looks towards Nao and Nao just smiled and nodded her head. We waved goodbye and part our ways.

After the child left, it went back to being awkward between us again.

"Errr… it’s still quite early though. Wanna just walk around and talk?" I asked Nao. She smiled and agreed to it.

We walked and walked but both of us had nothing to talk about. Every time we wanted to talk each of us just interrupt each other.

"This is awkward isn’t it?" I asked.

"Yeah, it is. Let’s have a sit and eat ice-cream. Your treat." Nao replied cutely.

Couldn’t resist her charm I decided to treat her to ice-cream. We talked for a few minutes, all of a sudden I heard a camera shutter. I looked around then I noticed a guy with shades. He looked suspicious with his camera just snapping photos at one direction. In a way, I can see he is from the press.

I quickly grabbed Nao and quickly ran as far as we could until we lost the press. We stopped running and sad down on a bench.

"Why did we run?" asked Nao.

"The press" I answered as I gasped for air.

She then took the handkerchief I lend her and wiped off my sweat. I couldn’t help but to blush. She giggled then noticed the whale swimming in front of us.

"Oh, we reached here. I’m back Mr.Whale." said Nao as she stared and put her hand against the glass.

"I have a secret to tell you. "You see that person over there?…." the Nao started whispering to the whale opposite the glass.

Being confused, I called her. She turned and sat right next to me.

I was curious so I asked her “Why do you talk to the whale?”

Nao giggled and told me she usually come here to talk to the whale. Where sometimes she can’t talk to anyone about any of her issues.

"So, you aren’t crazy. What a relief." I said sarcastically.

She just laughed at it.

"Hey, I had a really really great time today. We did a lot of things. Helped a boy find his mother, ate ice-cream and ran from the press." said Nao with a smile.

"Oh, I’m about to tell both Mr. Whale and you something. Don’t tell anyone about this. I don’t want anyone to worry about me" said Nao.

I agreed to her condition of not telling anyone at all. I don’t know what I was expecting but I just chose to listen.

"Being in both AKB and SKE is really tough. I sometimes don’t know what to do. So I just follow the senpai and try my best. But sometimes I feel like even if I try my best it isn’t enough. I wanted to quit but I chose to stay because I want to surpass my senpais and be center." she told us with her eyes began to tear up.

Not being surprised because she is in AKB because I know everyone of them wanted to be the center. I just remained silent and just hugged her. Nao couldn’t hold her tears any longer and just cried.

"I know you’re having a hard time now being in a co-current position and all. I can see you’re trying your hardest and others are too. I really hope you can be a center one day." I told her.

She looked up and just gazed into my eyes while I gazed at her’s. Then without knowing we kissed. When we reached realization, we pushed just each other apart. Both of our faces were very red. No one talked to each other for a full 5 minutes.

She check her watch and she told me she had to leave already.

"Before I leave let’s take a picture together with Mr.Whale." said Nao with a smile.

I just nodded. Our face touched and we took a photo together. As she pressed the capture button, Nao kissed my cheek.

She giggled and asked me. “Hey, let’s exchange numbers. That way we could talk and I could send the picture to you.”

After exchanging numbers, she walks away and waved to tell us goodbye. I just sat down at the bench and just look into the whale swimming in the water behind the glass.

"Oh, a text message." I was taken surprised.

—Text Message—

"I really really did enjoy today. Glad I get to meet a person like you. I wish we could go out like today again. Oh, wanna know did I told Mr.Whale about you?"

I replied her with a yes and a bunch of exclamation points.

Few minutes later, I received a reply by Nao. Feeling anxious. I just open and read it.

—Text Message—

"I told Mr.Whale

"You see that person over there? I think I actually like him. I had a really fun time today. He is kind and fun to be with. I really hope he can accept me."

I was reading this to my surprise. Then I suddenly received a text.

"I’m asking you that, would you go out with me?"

I instantly to just replied yes. And used the picture she sent as my phone wallpaper. To my excitement, I just laugh and danced in front of the whale. At the same time, I received another text by Nao. I stopped dancing and read the message.

—Text Message—

"I’ll be in your care. Please take care of me from now on."
