The first time they met was in the practice room, finding out that they would be debuting under a group named “EXO”. Eight Korean members, and four Chinese. But one particular Chinese member, Yixing, had caught Joonmyeon’s eye.
It was a shame though, Yixing didn’t know Korean, and Junmyeon didn’t know Chinese.
(In this fic, I’ve decided that neither of them could communicate due to language barriers, it’s just an idea that has been stuck in my head for a while now.)
