Ouch... My eyes are moist now. This piece is so beautifully heartwrenching that I find myself at a loss for words...

I have no idea how to review (aka = rave) now, because it left me an emotional wreck. But I will try my best because it deserves nothing less than that.

Firstly, your descriptions are perfect. Your sentences are gorgeous. The words simply flow from one to another. Never once have I felt that a scene transition was awkward or anything. It was plain lovely. You have a wondrous gift for words ^^

Secondly, the characterization is fantastic and the interactions that you had between the characters felt so... believable. Onew and Jonghyun weren't shallow at all. They had great depth in them and I could feel actually feel Onew's desperation growing stronger and stronger over time as he attempted to grasp onto the fraying edges of their relationship. They felt real- like 3D people, not some cardboard cutouts constantly wallowing in misery because of trivial affairs.

Thirdly, er... You are an awesome writer? Have I mentioned this before? Your writings are masterpieces. Masterpieces. I can't appreciate them enough. There are some other works of yours that I have read but didn't review (because I was lazy), so I can confidently claim this without seeming to be making generalizations.

To sum up : You are just awesome. This piece is just awesome. It will be so much awesome-er if this is completed XD

Sincerely, me <3

..the first chapter of this fic already makes me cry like crazy. X( I don't know if I can continue reading it. But please update soon XD ! Your story is really great! You used the broken string as hope and the kite as the lover really matched the plot X)
You're an awesome writer X)
Such a heart-breaking fic. But I hope Jinki is happy, reading the part where he chased after Jonghyun really shot me to death. Nice work! XD !

Awh that was heartbreaking. Finally there's a change between Jonghyun and Onew but what tragic one for Onew. If only he had listened to Taemin and Minho early on, or maybe it was too late already. I loved your symbolism of the kite and Onew, holding onto something that must and has to be free only brings pain.

Jonghyun leaving Jinki is for the best so that they won't have to suffer being in a relationship that no longer seems meaningful as it once was, especially since he realized that he has done something wrong that brings Jinki much pain. It's like Jonghyun is inwardly hoping that there's someone better than him out there for Jinki since he feels that he doesn't deserve that special place in Jinki's heart. Hopefully Minho can be the one to bring him overflowing happiness and give him the unconditional love and care that he needs to feel whole again. Minho could show him what having a healthy, loving relationship is like. I'm looking forward to the future Onho.

That's a good use of symbolism by tying the kite to freedom from one's boundaries. It's like an escape from the misery that's keeping it bogged down or dampening its spirits.

The one grammatical mistake in this sentence bothers me: Or was it or too late already?
The "or" in the middle isn't necessary. It sounds awkward having it there since no more than one option is mentioned in this phrase. The "it" here is described as something being "too late" and the "or" is in the way of that.

Poor Jinki... He should've paid close attention to the signs at the beginning and not misinterpret them. It's good that he has Minho and Taemin by his side when he needs emotional support. They are really true friends. The longer he holds on, the more it'll hurt him inside. People can have unrealistic expectations when they believe in the permanence of something. It's for the sake of their own happiness. In the long run, it's beyond their ability to stop the changes from happening and things are bound to break out of their routine state. Variety is what keeps things moving (the spice of life), and sometimes that accounts for a positive change towards maturity. I think Jonghyun wished for things to change deep down and more than that, which is why he decided to turn toward Kibum since it's something he can't get from Jinki. Though, it is wrong of Jonghyun to cheat on him. Feelings of the other person in the relationship have to be taken into consideration for the bond to progress. In the way that you portray the Jongyu relationship, it seems that Jinki hasn't given any thought about Jonghyun's feelings regarding change as a healthy aspect in a relationship and there's no open communication about each other's personal thoughts. There doesn't seem to be much understanding (a vital aspect of a relationship) between them.
