The six young men sat gathered round the table, eating and talking. Hyuk smiled a little brighter when he realized that they weren’t just like a family. VIXX was a family. When he was first named a member of the final group, he didn’t think that they would ever become this close. Not with him anyway. Yet there they were, just over two years later, and that’s exactly what they were.

Family.

N was the mother, caring and nurturing just like the real thing. Even if he was a bit too loud sometimes, he cared so much for the other members and always put them first, sometimes putting himself so far last on the list of important things that his health and well-being suffered.

Leo was perfect material to be the father of the group. Even though at first he looked mean and scary – he sure scared Hyuk when they first met – he was actually very kind, always looking out for the members, and Hyuk knew that he would step up to help and defend any of them in a heartbeat.

Ken was either the goofy big brother or a crazy aunt. He always made sure to make everyone laugh at least once day, but he had his serious moments too that proved just how much he cared about those around him, proved that he wasn’t just the class clown but a guy who truly cared about his friends.

Ravi was defiantly the cool big brother, the one the younger siblings looked up too and wanted to be when they got older. Even with that cool image, Ravi was never too cool to help Hyuk out when he needed advice, or a shoulder to cry on, or just wanted to see song the older was working on.

Hongbin could be either a brother or a best friend, they were so close it was hard to pick sometimes. Hongbin might be the most attractive guy he knew, but his personality, his goodness and kindness and willingness to help others, was what made him someone Hyuk was proud to call a friend, call a brother.

Then there was Hyuk, the baby of the family. He knew that he could be a bit of a sassy brat a times, but he liked to think that the others knew how much he really cared about them, that under all the bratty maknae actions he did when the camera was on was a person who really cared and loved them all.

They really had become a family and Hyuk wouldn’t change that for the world.

A/N: This *smacks hands down against the table for dramatic effect* I am very proud of this. I am beyond proud of this. I hope you all like it, too, but that doesn’t matter so long as I like it. ….. *fake whisper* in case you didn’t guess, I really like how this turned out. hahaha
