Jaehwan could already hear the sobs coming from the bedroom that the rapper and maknae shared. He’d only just entered the dorm that VIXX called home and he could hear the crying clear as day, indicating that something was horribly wrong.

As Jaehwan rushed to see what was wrong, he tried to figure out who was crying.

Hakyeon was off filming for a variety show.

Taekwoon was using his free day to visit his family.

Wonsik was still at the company building where Jaehwan had left him.

Hongbin was getting ready for his new drama that would be starting any day now.

That just left........

SANGHYUK!

“Hyukkie?” Jaehwan yelled, throwing the door open so hard it smashed into the wall. Later, Jaehwan would worry about the damage and the scolding he’d get from Hakyeon and their manager. Right now, he had to worry about his boyfriend. “Hyukkie, why are you crying? What happened? Baby, are you alright?” the words flew out of Jaehwan’s mouth as he looked around the room before finally looking at his boyfriend

“Hyung?” Sanghyuk looked up from his laptop with tear filled eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Jaehwan rushed to his side, pulling the laptop away so he could look at it, “are you reading anti comments again? I told you not to. That those people are wrong and.........” Jaehwan paused when he realized what was on the screen, “Sanghyuk, were you watching the Notebook? Is.....is that why you were crying?”

“Shut up,” Sanghyuk huffed, “The others cry, too. Even Taekwoon hyung tears up a little.”

“There’s nothing seriously wrong?” Jaehwan clarified, all the tension draining from his body, “nothing at all?”

“No,” Sanghyuk frowned, “why? Did......did you think something had happened?”

“Clearly,” Jaehwan sighed, handing Sanghyuk his laptop back before moving to rest his head on the younger’s shoulder, “I heard you crying. What else was I supposed to think?”

Sanghyuk smiled softly, deeply touched by how much concern the other had for his well-being.

“Want to watch a movie with me?” Sanghyuk asked after a moment, “a happy one this time?”

“Yep,” Jaehwan smiled, leaning up slightly to press a kiss to Sanghyuk’s cheek.

A/N: first theme this week that I can honestly say I 100% love. I mean, I like the other two this week but.........yeah. I think I made my reasons to not like them clear in the author’s note at the end of them so........don’t need to say it again, do I? To be fair.....I think I kind of stayed from the theme a little too much. Still like the end result so.......whatever.
