“There are more threats, sire. The word is spreading like wild fire about ‘The Jump’.

“Sire, what is to be done?”

“My Lord, you have sent for both of us?”

“Indeed, I have. There is an disdainful event that has been taking place in my realms. As you both know, The Angels, supposedly guardians of human peace and balance, have been causing quite a disturbance in both worlds.”

“Yes, of course, we foresee everything.”

“‘The Jump’, as we call it, has been a secret that has been kept from the beginning of existence. We decided to keep it’s factuality for it is the one weakness that can cause this realm to be in chaos.”

“But the truth came out, it’s only but fate, My Lord”

“It’s only but fate... let me ask you a question then, My Fates?”

“We are afraid we both know of what you would ask and we both suggest that you don’t ask it, My Lord.

“And you both would know that I would ask of it anyway.”

“Regretfully.”

“The Fates operate on two, like Yin and Yang, to make fate a balance of ripples in the pond. If one action is made, there would be an equal reaction to it. Am I not correct?”

“You are indeed.”

“Then, let my request be heard. Is it just not right that an Angel who has made The Jump be equally punished for disturbance in the realms?”

“My Lord, let us stop you for a moment. “The Jump”was never a disturbance before laws and orders were decided amongst the authoritative power. It has always been there as a choice. If and if they do cause bad events to happen in the worldly realm then an opposite reaction would fall upon them, as fate would go. It is not for us to disrupt.”

“My dearest Fates, would you be kind as to lend your ears to my request, that is if you’re done done being stubborn.”

“...”

“Good. I just know that my simple request is within your power, I simply wish that Angels who make ‘The Jump’be not able, anymore, to remember their life in my realm. And as I am kind, make it so that they only remember three things: their past state, their name, and that regretfully sad reason’s also. But spare no memory from them, not even a face, so that they live the harsh world as equal to any human.”

“...”

“Also...there is one more thing.”

“My Lord, we’ll grant this request but do know that in doing this, there would be temporary order but someday it will cause a great threat to your realm.”

“What’s more of a threat than what is occurring now. My Fates, we are finished here and I thank you for your blessing. You may go now”

“We bid you well.”

 

 

We are the fates.

We exist in this world to keep the balance in every realm.

In our power, we can change any foreseen circumstance but with an equal reaction.

The universe itself makes way in weaving fate together in a complicated web that there is no possible exemption for anyone.

We, the fates, foresee the events in the future, and we have never been wrong.

       Have you ever watched the movie 'City of Angels'? I took my concept of 'jumping' a.k.a 'dying' and giving up their immortality from that movie. I based my concept of an angel there but pretty much changing everything that happens after they jump. This fic will not pass 10 chapters. I'm actually hoping it won't be 5. *crosses fingers* 

I thought about this story last year and it's already done in my head, but of course there's the typing part. I only typed it now because all of a sudden while I was cooking pasta this morning, I found a way to start the story!
