I just sat there in a daze, on the cold floor beside her side of the bed. My lips were trembling, wanting to cry out. Yet, even if I did it, she won’t be able to hear me. She had left me and that is it. I should have known it earlier. How quiet the apartment was. How empty her closet was. And how she did not greeted me. My love ended so simply. Yet, I know it had finished months ago. I have never told her. I never told her anything. Now, our relationship had officially over. Still, it hurts. It hurts very much. To realize she ran without saying goodbye. To understand I could never talked to her, never again see her. With shaking fingers, I traced the bed that she had laid this morning. It was cold. No one would ever warm it again. I stayed in the apartment for a very long time. I do not know how long but all I want to do was to find her, her spirit that constantly warms our humble home. I rather miss work. I rather miss eating. I rather miss sleeping, just to search for her.

“Honey~” I heard her voice. My head immediately turned to face the voice. There was no one. “Welcome back.” That was her high pitch sweet voice again. I immediately stood up but fell. I cursed my legs, they have fallen asleep. I forced them to get up. I need to find her.
