"Why the long face?" a voice asked that made Dara creased her beautiful face. She did not bother to look while Jiyong occupied the chair that was once Jae used, she tried her best to keep her caramel eyes straight to the red wine on her hand.

"Is it because my dear cousin left you alone?" He sourly continued as if he was not being ignored by his wife. Dara, who did not missed the sarcasm on his tone, arched an eyebrow and glance at his way.

"Oh, so you do remember my presence huh?" She sarcastically answered back with a fake surprised on her face; she then rolled her eyes and dragged them back to her red wine.

"What's wrong with you?"

Dara scoffed and placed the glass on the table, furrowing her eyebrows together before facing her husband. "No, Jiyong, I should be the one asking you that! What's wrong with you?" she hissed trying to control the tone of her voice to avoid getting attention from the other guests. The last thing she wanted is to make a scene right in the middle of the kind Ahn couple. Dara has taken a liking to Mr. and Mrs. Ahn's kindness and she doesn't want to ruin the celebration just because she's jea—iie… she's pissed off with Sohee glomping her husband as if she does not existed in the same party.

"If you're going to throw tantrum, Dara, maybe it's best if we head home." He said, Dara twitched and her irritation heightened when he was making it look like she's a three year old in tantrum.

Dense! She mentally screamed but tried not to snort. She's a lady of class, snorting is not a way to express her feeling, so instead she rolled her eyes and tried to calm the turmoil inside her by heaving a deep sigh before turning at him again but even before word comes out of her lips Sohee appeared next to him. Dara's one eye twitched and glared at Sohee but the latter ignored her and patted Jiyong's shoulder earning his attention.

"Excuse me but Dad said he wanted Jiyong to meet our prospective investors from West Kingdom." She said and linked her thin arms around his left arm, which did not go passed unnoticed by Dara's chocolate (ehem sharp ehem) eyes.

Dara wanted to scream that she doesn't want Jiyong to leave her side and she should keep her sneaky arms off around her husband. She tried to catch his eyes to send him a silent message that she wanted him to stay and not to go with Sohee but she was too late when the girl pulled him to his feet and before turning their back to the fuming Dara, Sohee let out a meaningful smirked and tightened her gripped around Jiyong's arm and walked off.

Dara clenched her jaw in irritation while watching their back walking away from her. Tears overlooked her brown eyes but she irritatedly brushed them off before they pour down. She pushed herself from the chair and entered the house, her eyes busy looking for Jae. She spotted the young man casually talking with the blushing Sulli inside the sitting room. Lucy having a second thought of disturbing the two and in the end decided to leave the room when Jaejoong saw her about to turn her back.

"Hey, Dara." Jae called out. She stopped and slowly turned her body back to the two and let out a forced smile. Sulli smile and nodded at her. He excused himself from Sulli and approached Dara.

"What's wrong?" He asked, noticing the irritation etched on Dara's beautiful face.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you, Jae but can you take me back home?" Dara said pressing the bridge of her nose to emphasis her excuse. Being a good friend, he merely nodded and waved a hand at Sulli before pulling Dara out of the sitting room by her arm. "There's Mrs. Ahn, we should say good bye first." Dara quietly nodded and let Jae lead her to the kind older Ahn.

Silence ruled between Jae and Dara all the way their ride back to Jiyong's manor. She had her eyes staring gloomily at the darkness outside the car's window. Jaejoong, from time to time glance at the quiet girl with worried look.

"What happened, Dara?" Jae started. "Did you have problems with Jiyong?"

Dara did not answer first but let out a weary sigh before straightening herself from the passenger's seat. Jaejoong patiently waited for her answer. "I think the problem lies on me." Or more like the problem is my stupid heart for loving Jiyong like this. She inwardly admitted to herself this, the fact that she was so denial for the past weeks. . Dara washed her palm over her face and groan. Oh god, why him of all people, why him Dara? The blonde heiress chastised herself mentally. Yes, why Jiyong? The very same man who confessed that he had any intention of falling in love with a lady like her. He clearly stated that she was not the girl of his type.

"I don't get it, Dara, what do you mean the 'problem lies on you'?" Jae asked in confusion.

Dara resurfaced her face from her palm and stared outside the window once more. "Please I don't want to talk about it anymore, at least for now; I'm so confused that I don't want to think about it anymore."

Jae went silent but nodded afterwards. "I understand, but if you needed to talk to, I'm always available, okay? Just call me anytime."

She flashed him a sincere small smile. "Thank you, Jae, for everything."

Jae just answered her with a small smile before turning his attention back to the road and Dara dragged her eyes back to the window again.

After saying good bye to Jae, she went straight to the mini bar inside the sitting room where Jiyong had his variety of imported alcohol displayed; Dara did not even bother to open the light, the vivid light coming from the light posts outside the house that was streaming inside the room through the window allowed the blonde heiress to locate the bar without much difficulty.

She just grabbed the glass hanging on the wine glass rack; opened the first bottle of alcohol she found in the shelf and poured the liquid into her goblet, after that she carried the beverage into her lips while walking to the couch and dropped her body into the seat.

Dara absentmindedly stared at the mahogany center table while silently pondering about her problem. What kind of mess did she just make? If she's just married to someone else maybe she might not be hurting like this. Maybe things would have been simpler then. But no! She let herse
