Aron had always been my friend - my best friend. The person I could confide in like no other. I told him everything, pouring out my soul on a regular basis. I suppose I shouldn't have been so surprised to discover he loved me. I was, after all, pretty damned beautiful. But he should have known that I myself was already head over heels in love with someone I could never leave.

I was the god of chastity, innocence, moon, and naiveté and I did not see at first the true reasons behind Aron's disapproval of Baekho. In my defense he was quite convincing. I needed to stay strong and uphold the principles I stood for. I must never marry, and above all never sleep with anyone. I must not let myself be tarnished. All whispered in my ear in response to every babbled tale I told of Baekho.

When he realized that I would never cease in my infatuation, he moved to Baekho. Baekho was a god in his own right, the deity of the blazing yellow sun of the day. Here, his jealousy took a sinister turn. Under skies with no moon or sun, he devised his plan.

The near misses at first went unnoticed, dangerous creatures not seen for centuries suddenly attacking, friendly battles going wrong, illnesses caused by his favorite foods. Baekho had been so close to death on numerous occasions, ready to join the multitude of souls in the devil god of death's home. Baekho started to take notice, spending more and more time with me as though he knew his life was short. He didn't know it would be because of me.

Aron had challenged me one day, like he was fond of doing. Typically these challenges revolved around my skill in archery, and that day was no different. Looking around, only later would I discover it had been for show, he spied a tiny black dot bobbing in the waves. Unable to resist, I had drawn back the string of my elegant silver bow, and let fly the matching arrow, hardly looking at all, just knowing I had hit my target.

Aron had seemed all too gleeful at my triumph, and only when the body of my beloved had washed onto the shore did I realize what he had done. He had tried to steal me back to his realm, where I would never leave. Tooth and nail I fought as a demon unhinged, and I made my way to the council to order my Baekho revived.

It took a thousand years, but I - we managed it, Baekho and I. But something dark and brooding lurked around the corner, and my return to the heaven realm was eagerly awaited by someone I had thought to be long gone. 

A/N: Been meaning to write this forever, a short oneshot sequel, I hope it to be. It's based partially on the story of Persephonae (and I understand a popular author has recently started a story with such a theme but I assure you this has been in the works for *months* and it's an entirely different story) and her adventure into the realm of death. oooo I've been DYING to write a Baekren story lately *can breath now* I hope you like it! My Stance On Plagiarism (My Personal Rules)

Translations: I allow translations so long as I am *fully* credited at the end of every chapter, with a link back, and I am informed beforehand, and after project completion. I would be very happy if people translated, after all, it pretty much means more people reading my story and knowing me. 

Prequel, Sequel, Spin-off: You are allowed to create prequels, sequels, spin-offs, i.e. fanfiction of my fanfiction so long as you fully credit me in the forward and the last chapter, and inform me before and after completion so I may quickly glance through and approve. 

Worlds/Characters: You may base your story with characters or worlds like mine so long as I receive *full* credit for the idea and creation of characters in the forward. Please inform me. (For an explanation for those who think the characters aren't really mine to begin with: I don't think anybody can tell me Ren, for example, is a suicidal fashion designer working for very low wages with a bad boyfriend history [Count To Five], in real life. Therefore, my character that I personally created. I just don't own the names or the boys in questions [Would that it were true...].)

Plot: Do *not* use my plot. These plots I have plans for possibly publishing someday, and thus are not for everyone's everyday use. 

Other Websites: These rules apply *only* to asianfanfiction users. Do NOT take/borrow ANYTHING if it is intended for upload to another site. 

Do *not* plagiarize my story, this is not an excuse or me giving you free reign. This is my way of trying to be fair to others, while at the same time expecting to received the notoriety I should for coming up with the ideas and writing it all out. Rewrites or changing the names are still considered plagiarism in my book.
