Listen to This Song

Description

A close friend, a nice tune, a good cup of coffee, and a window with a nice view was all Kyungsoo really needed in life to be happy..

Many people would pass by the window in which Kyungsoo would b elooking out of, and Kyungsoo took a meager interest in the way they behaved - how tense their jaw was, how fast they walked, and the expression on their faces...Kyungsoo would roll the images of these people over and over again in his head until they became disinteresting pictures that his brain simply just forgot about.

Kyungsoo's interest of observing passerbys over the course of many years had led him to believe that the world was quite a...tricky place.

The saying goodbye to the best friend right before turning around and kissing said friends boyfriend, the fake tears shed in order to recieve money that would be used to gamble, the sarcastic laughs and backtalk that occured after a friend left a group to go to class...Kyungsoo had seen it all.

And usually, it was beautiful people that did the crulest things and caused the most heartbreak and pain.

So Kyungsoo tried to stay out of their way. Beautiful people...Kyungsoo used to tap his fingers on the wooden table, and contemplate what 'beautiful' really meant. He would sit, while his coffee had long gone cold, and ponder the question for hours on end, much to the annoyance of whatever friend he had happened to drag along with him to the cafe that day.

Beautiful...

One day, Kyungsoo will define the word.
