Too Late
A Little Too Late
Hitting my annoying alarm off, I groan and hide my face under the pillow. It’s going to be another busy day with recordings for Radio Star (a long one since today is another special episode), some CF’s to film, musical practise and dance practise for the upcoming album release. Just ten more seconds. I came home at almost four in the morning last night from the busy schedules and I can already predict another exact same day today. But… I guess I cannot complain. I asked for this, didn’t I?
Releasing another groan, I push myself off my super comfortable bed and hug my pillow, just blinking and yawning, staring into empty space. I didn’t know how long I did that but once I snapped out of it, I made my way to get myself ready.
After showering and putting on some decent clothes, no use finding good ones anyway since the stylist will just give new ones to me saying that she can never trust my fashion sense. Looking down at myself… It’s not that bad! At least I dress up a little bit better than Sungmin. Just a little. I head over to the kitchen and grab a bowl and some cereal. I doubt the others are awake yet at this timing since it’s so early. As I sleepily dig in, I sense some movement and look up to see Eunhyuk, sleepily walking towards the table.
“You’re up early.” I say. “Schedules?”
“D&E practise.” Eunhyuk mumble back. “Pass me the milk.”
“I doubt Hae hyung is even awake yet. If he is he would probably be barging in any moment now.”
Eunhyuk suddenly snap his fingers. “I shouldn’t have let him drank much last night ahh why didn’t I think of that?”
Eunhyuk shook his head and quickly dug into his breakfast, not saying anything else. He slurred down everything in one go and push himself off the chair. He looks around and starts to grab his stuff, car keys, wallet, handphone and stuffs them into his pocket.
“I’ve got to wake Hae up.” Eunhyuk says, more like to himself than to anyone else.
“What’s the occasion anyway? You guys barely drink on weekdays especially knowing there’s schedules early in the morning.”
Eunhyuk stops dead in his track and turns to look at me with wide eyes. I wonder what in the world is wrong with this hyung. He looks around and rubs his neck awkwardly.
“You don’t kn…” Eunhyuk shakes his head, sighing. “I really got to go.”
Eunhyuk starts to put on his socks and shoes and I ask him what he meant by what he said earlier. Eunhyuk just shook his head and I have a feeling I don’t like this one bit. He puts on his shoes hurriedly and before leaving, he looks back at me.
“Ryeowook saved some cake for you in the fridge.”
And then he is gone. I shake my head at this hyung. Glancing at the clock, I have at least five minutes before I have to head off. Maybe some cake in the morning wouldn’t hurt. I walk over to the fridge and there it is, a chocolate
