Agent Sun
Description
This story will be a mix of genres: budding romance, light comedy, some action; and hopefully , it fits into the mindblowing genre as well. xP This is my first fanfic in years, so forgive me if it gets awkward!
Disclaimer: I am not part of the police force and I have never been part of any covert operations, so please excuse me if I ever write anything about these two subjects completely wrong. lol. xP
The independent administrative unit, called the Bureau, was an agency under Park Jin Young created to commit covert operations under his bidding. The Bureau was made of several factions: the in-action agents, the housing, the informants, and the office.
The in-action agents, or simply, the agents, were the ones who did all the physical activities in missions.
The housing were people who only served the Bureau by housing traveling agents for as long as their missions needed.
The informants were people who researched on Jin Young’s opponents and reported their suspicious activities to the office.
The office were the agents that Jin Young surrounded himself with. They were the ones who protected him personally and the ones who would tell him the results of his carried-out missions.
As Chief of Police, it was Jin Young’s duty at the moment to take care of the biggest mafia gang in Seoul- the Demons, a gang under the man codenamed Pyro.
Foreword
The shock dissipated as she hung up the phone. The case she practically begged for was finally awarded to her and better yet, she was doing it alone. She sighed contentedly and rose up from her position on the floor to stare out the huge window at the sight of the skyscraper city at night.
“New York, I love you.” She smiled softly. “But my country needs me.”
She immediately left the living room to pack up her belongings from her room. Zipping up her suitcase she stared longingly at the photograph she had on her bedside table.
“Sunmi, you were the best partner I’ve ever had.” She touched her friend’s face behind the glass and exhaled in determination and promise.
“I’ll finish what you started.”

The telephone rang shrilly as I opened the front door to my homely, one bedroom apartment. I dropped all my books onto the floor and ran to the old telephone that hung on the wall next to my shabby kitchen.
“Hello?” I answered breathlessly. I was running for the last twenty minutes with books in my arms from my class to my apartment when I was told that the Bureau would call me.
“Sup Ji?” The voice on the other line whispered. I snorted, annoyed. My cousin had me sprinting for a casual conversation? Before I could scold his head off, he continued in a formal tone at a normal volume. “Another agent will be coming tonight to stay with you for the next few weeks.”
I rolled my eyes. I was a housing. That’s what my purpose was in this agency, wasn’t it?
“Don’t I always do that? Well, thanks for the heads up, hyung.”
“Wait, don’t hang up,” he said as he correctly guessed what I was going to do. “Since you have been holding male agents on and off for the last few years, HQ has trusted you for this assignmen-“
“Male? So… it’s different this time?” I cut him off when I understood where he was getting at. A girl living in the same place as me?
“Yes, that is correct. Her name is Min SunYe and she will be working on the Pyro case.” My eyes widened in response.
“The Pyro case?” I repeated for safety measures. “But… she’s… Is she going at it alone?”
“Yes, she insisted on it. She works best alone. You should expect her at 10 o' clock.”
“All right, hyung. Thanks for letting me know.” I said my goodbyes quickly before my cousin could work in some ridiculous innuendo. I sighed.
Min Sunye.
A girl.
… A female person will be living in my place??
Well, that won’t be awkward at all.
