"I would like to make announcement" Teddy spoke through the mic as everyone looked at him, I was with L's  mother behind the stage

"Today I would like to introduce, my granddaughter Kim Ara" the godfather motioned his hand towards me and L's mother gave me a slight push "go" she whispered and I made my way on stage as the spotlight shined on me, I saw how everyone's eyes focused on me as I saw L in the crowd who gave me a nod

I walked towards the godfather and took his hand "This is Kim Ara, my eldest granddaughter, she was living abroad making me unable to introduce her sooner. I hope you will acknowledge her from now on" the godfather explained and I just played along at the 'abroad' part since they cannot find out I was actually adopted

Everyone started clapping making me sighed in relieved, unnoticeable of course. But from the corner of my eyes, I saw Aunt Hyesu walked out from the hall and from there, I saw a few disapproval from a few faces and from there I understand what L was talking about

"You may be a part of our family, but you are not a part of us"

I may be a part of a gang but that doesn't mean I am a part of their world, at least not yet. And that is a test I have to go through.
