A message to all the children growing up.
"It's dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you're feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. I was so preposterously serious in those days... Lightly, lightly—it's the best advice ever given to me... So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, at your feet, trying to you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That's why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling..."
— Aldous Huxley, Island.
This is more of a message than a story, and that's why I'm posting it immediately because I don't want ppl to subscribe and be disappointed. This is more of a life-lesson than anything else, which is also following my bitter-sweet feelings as graduating nears.
A Farewell To Arms,
for, my first love.
I know you suffered, and I wished I could take away some of that pain. But that doesn't happen, what actually happens is watching, crying and eyes being closed, ears being covered. Because all of us are falling, falling, falling, and only some learn how to fly.
