“Kyaaaaaaaaa You two are engaged????” yelped Jessica and Yoona

“When did he propose?” asked Jessica

“Yesterday...” answered taeyeon

“Well, how?” asked Yoona

“He wears this funny doll head with a heart shaped rucksack standing in front of my door and last thing I know he proposed to me..” said taeyeon blushed

“Kyaaa!!!! Oh my God, youre getting married!! Finally...” said Yoona

“Yeah, and the thing is, we’re gonna do it next week.” said taeyeon

“Whaaaatt???!!!???” they said in shocked

“And I want you to be the bridesmaid and you Sica will be doubled as my bridesmaid too” said taeyeon

“a one week work bridesmaid, that’s a lot of work to handle...” said Jessica

“But since it’s yours, I’d love to do it with all my heart...” said Jessica hugged taeyeon

“Hmm, still can’t call Donghae Oppa, is she really that busy? I really want to talk to him right now” I thought while I’m in the kitchen helping my dad cooked for dinner

“He’ll be here any minute. stop worrying too much and close that phone of yours I need help here!” said my dad

“Oh, kyuhyun a... you’re looking for taeyeon?” asked yesung who opened the door for him

“Actually, I came here to meet not only her but the entire family” said kyuhyun smiling

“Dinner’s ready” said Heechul gathering all the people to the dining room

“Annyeonghaseyo” said Kyuhyun bowing

“Oh, Kyuhyun a, please have a sit, I’ve prepared all of this helped by this beautiful daughter of mine” said Heechul

“Thank you for preparing all of these” said Kyuhyun

“Let’s eat then” said Yesung

After they eat they gather at the living room sipping tea and having fruits

“So what took you here Kyuhyun a?” asked Heechul

“Actually, I’m here because I want to asked for your permission to marry your daughter. Eventhough I already did propose to her, I still need both of your permission.” said kyuhyun

“Hahahhaa, of course you have my bless in your pocket. as long as my daughter happy.” said Heechul

“Yeah, me too. I mean my best friend and my baby sister? Who would want to say no?” said yesung smiling

“Thank you” said Kyuhyun to both of  them

“So when are you two want to do it?” asked Heechul

“Actually, we’ve planned to do it next week.” said kyuhyun looking at taeyeon who is smiling at him

“Next Week??? You’re crazy???” said yesung

“What’s wrong? I think that’s a great idea. He still has a lot to do in the office. The faster the better right kyuhyun?” asked Heechul smiling at kyuhyun

After they chit chatted for a while, kyuhyun decided to go back home

“Well, let us do all the wedding things, you just finish your left over work so you’ll be free on the wedding day.” said kyuhyun

“Thank you Chief Kim” said kyuhyun bowing

“just call me abeonim, you’re about to be my son in law aren’t you?” said Heechul

“Well, I better get going then” said kyuhyun bowing and then taeyeon send him till the front door

“It’s okay, you can go in now..” said kyuhyun

“Well, then take care, be careful while driving okay” said taeyeon

“I get it.” said kyuhyun, and then taeyeon walking into her house, just when kyuhyun want to go to his car, someone stopped him from the back

“Kyuhyun a....” said Yesung

“Yesung, what’s wrong?” asked kyuhyun

“I know that it’s kind of break the whole wedding mood, but I really need to ask you this.” said Yesung

“I know that you’re the one who’s handling this Dark One case.” said Yesung

“Ahh, that, I also heard that you were interrupting my assistance work on the last investigation. Why did you do that?” asked kyuhyun

“I really need to solve this problem myself, and  now knowing you’re the one who’s in charge on this case, I want you to put me in to it.” said Yesung

“What? that’s kind of impossible. Besides, why are you so in to this case. Does this has something to do with you?” asked Kyuhyun

“Us, kyuhyun a, it has something to do with us.” said yesung

“What do you mean?” asked Kyuhyun

“Remember the time when I got shot at my investigation on this case?” asked yesung, kyuhyun nodded

“That time start, I already knew who the real Dark One is, but I haven’t caught him red handed as the truly him. All I have is this.” said yesung handling dragon shaped necktie pin

“Could it be....” said kyuhyun

“Choi siwon, our old buddy Choi Siwon.” said Yesung

“It can’t be... the last time I heard about him is him moving to other country as his parents died and now he’s the Dark One??” said kyuhyun disbelief

“Who else could it be, only the three of us had this pin, and no one except the three of us who knows the existence of this thing, that’s why this making me hard to accuse him. I need more evidence.” said Yesung

“So this is why you’ll never let this case off of your hand?” asked kyuhyun, yesung nodded

“Well, I can’t just put you in to my team, but I’ll help you by informing what, when or when anything that includes this case. Since my assistance will report to the chief if he saw you one more time, do it smoothly..” said kyuhyun

“Okay, that’s all I asked then...” said yesung

“What friends are for?” said kyuhyun and both of them laughing just then yesung stopped

“Eventhough you’re my friend but if I ever caught you making my sister’s life in misery, I will hunt you down and kick your !” said yesung

“Woah easy..” said kyuhyun shocked

“I mean it” said yesung

“Okay I get it” said kyuhyun smiling

4 days before the wedding day

a ring sound from a cellphone heard through the entire of Donghae’s room, then Donghae who was just sleeping he picked it up

“Yoboseyo...” said Donghae half awake

“Donghae Oppa.... I’m Taeyeon..” said taeyeon

“O, taeyeon a, why do you call me?” asked Donghae fully awake now

“Oppa, can’t I call you anymore??” asked taeyeon pissed off

“It’s not like that..” said Donghae tried to explain

“Well, then do you have plans today?” asked taeyeon

“Mmm, I’m not sure...” said Donghae

“Well, you do now, you go out with me. there’s something I need to talk to you.” said taeyeon

“But taeyeon..” said Donghae

“No but.... I’ll meet you up at Ric’s café 10 o’clock sharp. See you later Oppa” said taeyeon hung up the phone

“Huffthh...” sighed donghae

“Oppa! Over here...” called taeyeon waving her hand to donghae who still in a suit considering he came after work and then donghae sat in front of her

“Finally, I can meet you up..” said taeyeon pouting

“Well, blame my office then for making me so busy” said donghae

“Whatever, now that you’re here...” said taeyeon smiling

“What is it that you want to talk?” asked Donghae

“Jjajjjaaaann!!!” said taeyeon showing off her hand

“What??” asked Donghae

“Oppa, can’t you see?” asked taeyeon

“Mwo?” asked Donghae

“Aa bbanji(ring)” said taeyeon

“So what you’ve worn it for years.” said donghae

“it’s different with mine, it’s my engagement ring....” said taeyeon pissed off

Suddenly, donghae keep silent, he felt shocked, he don’t know what to say, just after a few seconds freeze he finally talk

“Is he... Kyuhyun?” asked Donghae

“Of course. who else could it be?” said taeyeon

“O, Chukahae taeyeon a. When will you guys get married?” asked Donghae

“For about four days...” said taeyeon

“4 days???????” asked donghae shocked

“Yeah, he want to make it faster. See, last week I want to inform this to you yet you were too busy to even pick up my call.” said taeyeon pouting

“Oh, that reminds me I need to pick up the dress today with kyuhyun oppa..” said taeyeon trying to get her handphone from her bag

“Oppa, I’ll make a short call ok, you order something to eat first.” said taeyeon leaving donghae

She’s getting married. With kyuhyun. Well, there you go Donghae, you already had your answer. you’ll never gonna be with her. You’re just like a brother in her eyes. But I really want to scream right now knowing that I don’t even have a tiny courage just to tell her how I felt. I guess this is it, this is my fate, near her but not beside her.
