In a fictional conservative village, the villagers hold odd and strange beliefs and superstitions. Shin Jooyoung doesn’t believe on any of them and happen to run into a strange man, Lee Hongbin.

Lee Hongbin is a restless soul and hasn’t left the Earth, still roaming around the village until his final wish is granted.

It surprises Hongbin that Jooyoung can see him without any problem or freaking out because of his appearance. His eyes can glow in dark and he has strange marks beside his eye, indicating that he is no human being. Things turn even weirder that both of them develop into a friendship to the point that Hongbin confuse over his own real identity.

She always asks him to hide whenever her grandmother was around, terrified that her grandmother will see him but the thing is, none of the villagers can see him, except her.

That makes Hongbin to wonder God’s plan.

Why does God let a girl see him?

And that question even bothers Jooyoung.

Why isn’t she running away when she first sees him?
