Naeun woke up without Myungsoo on his side. She rolled on the side of the bed then noticed the letter that was pinned on the side table.

After reading it, she gets her towel then went to the comfort room and prepares for her class.

Myungsoo banged to their house making the maids frightened

“Where is he?”

The maids bowed down then pointed their dining hall signaling that they are having their breakfast. Myungsoo went there immediately

“Where have you been?” his father asked but Myungsoo just stood there

“I bet you already spend a night her. Tss. No difference with me”

“Appa!” his sister shouted

Myungsoo turned his hands to a fist but he stopped himself. No, He needs to control himself he thinks. Suddenly, her sister stood up then get closer to him

“Myungsoo, go back to your room now. Wash yourself” she said as she grips his arms

But Myungsoo removes it then whispered something to his sister, “Don’t worry. I’ll keep this calm”

He sat down along with his sister around the table. They continued to eat except for Myungsoo who just sits there trying to control his anger. Silence filled the four corners of the room only the sound of the utensils interacting with the plates can be heard. Then Mr Kim began to talk,

“Do you really want to know why I don’t like her?”

“Appa, stop it” his sister said

“No let me tell this guy who is really that girl”

Myungso calmed himself trying to listen to his father

“Appa” his sister still try to stop him

“Your mother left us-“

“Don’t tell me she’s my mother!” Myungsoo shouted as he stood up

“Don’t ever tell in front of my face that she’s my mother” he continued trying to control the tears from his eyes but not the anger he feels right now.

After he said those words he started to leave but he was stopped when his dad started to talk again. Those words that were said by him made his tears roll down to his face.

“Because of his dad, your mom left”

Naeun went down stairs then saw her mom. She immediately ran to her and gave her a back hug

“Mom, I missed you” she said while still hugging her

“I missed you too” she response

“How are you, dear?”

“I’m fine. Myungsoo took care of me these past few days” Naeun smilingly said

“Should I thank him? Next time invite him again here. I’m sure he missed my cooking” her mom said then patted her head
