„I wanna have a pet!“, Ricky repeated for the n^th time. “Please Jonghyunnie buy me a pet... see you all have one... why can't I have one?”, he whined.

Dear, because you're too young. But I couldn't really say that. Although he acted like a five year old... he was still the elder of the both of us. But... seriously... he forgot to eat... he definitely wouldn't be able to take care of a pet. Never... the poor being would starve... would die... that's why you don't get one.

“Please... please buy me a cute kitty... or a puppy...”. The cute boy stared at me as if imitating the baby animals he had named. He was just too adoreable.

“We can go to the pet shop, okay?”, I let myself melt from his aegyo. I could tell he was amazing doing so. That's why he got my place as the maknae... He beats me in cuteness by worlds.

Ricky squealed in excitement. “Omo so, so happy ~”, he sang clapping his hands. “Jonghyunnie you're the best.”, he said now jumping up and down in front of me, then hugging me bone-crashing.

I laughed at his cuteness. Who wouldn't fall for him, seriously? I was pulled towards the coat rack. “Take your jacket and let's go!” Ricky almost hyperventilated, nodding as fast as colibri moved his wings. Okay, okay overstated... but it looked like that.

As he wished I took my coat and then we took the bus to go to the mall. We made sure nobody would recognize us, so we wore face masks. Hardcore fans would detect us, nevertheless, but it would keep off the grossest.

Yeah and it wasn't that clever to take public transport, but hell neither Ricky or me was able to drive... what should we do otherwise.

As we arrived at the mall Ricky was at least a bit cooled down. Only until we went in front of the pet shop. Let me ask this question: From where did the baby boy take his energy?

Look at his moves, his excited jumps, his boyish grin – I always had to remind myself that he was still a so called grown up. Yeah and the Easter bunny lays golden eggs. Maybe on the paper he pretended to be, but when you look at him and watch him act. He was just my cute baby faced hyung. As wrong as that sounds...

“Wahhh a rabbit...” And with that he had run away. I had to search for him like ten minutes when I caught him staring at a black and white striped rabbit. No Ricky...

“Rabbits are boring.”, I tried to spoilt it for him. That would be the plan. Just talking every pet down, he wanted to have. That would do!

Ricky's expression dropped. “Do you really think so?” Although I didn't, I had to nod. It was for the rabbit's sake. It would've thanked me, if it was able to do so.

But that shouldn't be the end. No it was just the beginning. “A kitty …aww so cute.”, the little cuteness Ricky was, fangirled.

“Dear... this is a cat. They are aggressive... they are useless and you would've to clean a cat toilet.”, I nodded underlining my words.

“Jong... why are you in such a bad mood?”, Ricky asked walking towards me putting his hands at his sides. Damn... how can a cutie like him look so y at the same time?

“I-I'm not.”, I defended myself, but I could tell Ricky didn't believe me. Luckily, he left it at this, when his eyes found a new attraction.

I gulped when I realized what pet... animal he was staring at. No Ricky... please... this is worse everything. Do not...

“Jonghyunnie ~ Can I have a llama?”

! He freaking did it... ChangJo quickly think of a response that doesn't upset him.

“See honey... this isn't really a pet...”, I started hiding my upcoming fear. Yeah I know what you think... llamas are stupid and stuff – but I swore they are evil... evil to the core!

I know that. My first meeting with one of this race... don't remind me of that! I was like four years old, on holidays with my family. I thought I had made friends with the llama, the farmer, we were staying at, owned. It had even let me ride it. As I had been this light, this was possible.

But then the day we were leaving, I wanted to say goodbye to my friend... but it just spit at me. See, they are evil. First making friends with you and in the end cheat on you. That's what llama's substance is like. And that's what would happen to my precious Ricky, too. No I had to protect him, since I'm the stronger one.

“Jongie?”, Ricky called me again. Exhale! I had to be spaced out.

“I'm sorry Changhyunnie... I was elsewhere with my thoughts”, I apologized. “So, what was the question?” Maybe, just maybe I had heard wrongly.

“I had asked you if we could adopt this sweet llama.”, Ricky said, petting the animal's nose. Oh no Ricky... do not fall for that beast.

“N-no Ricky... I think they are not allowed in the dorm.”, I gulped.

“Aww let's ask Andy-hyung! Please, I really wanna have it. Look it's so cute ❤”, my already doomed cutie said. That stupid llama had already got Ricky for itself.

I saw Ricky calling someone, most possibly Andy, since he had spoken about it.

“Yes hyung, omo I'm so happy. Thank you so so much. Love you.”, Ricky said and then hang up.

“Jonghyun, guess what? We are going to have a llama.”, Ricky grinned like he was the happiest person in the whole world. I mentally facepalmed. Honey, please do not buy it. Please do not...

But it was already too late. Ricky took a rope, being attached at the run and got the llama out of it. “Look, it likes you.”, Ricky laughed, making the llama look at me. “I called it Pascal by the way.”, he said incidentally.

The animal watched me as if it knew I was aware of its fake being.

“Do you even know that it's male?”, I asked acting like I enjoyed buying my soon-to-be dormmate. How did Ricky even imagine rearing a llama in the dorm?

“Yes it is!”, Ricky said huffing. “It is a guy. Just look at him.”

And I did. His eyes stared at me devious. Yeah, yeah Pascal! We are enemies from now on. You took my little innocent Ricky from me. Rascal Pascal! Yeah that's what I would call you.

We walked towards the register, Ricky wanting to pay for Pascal. I shook my head. Somewhat it was cute, he called the llama a so human – sounding name. We had to wait in the check out line. Admitted, that had to have looked really funny. Imagine: two boys waiting with a llama on a leash.

Looking back, it was the best thing we ever did, because suddenly Pascal was scared of something undefinable and spitted at my precious bestie. Pascal broke away and ran back to his run.

Ricky was so shocked that he immediately began to cry. “Pascal... he he...”, he whined. I hugged him tight. “Shhh baby, it's not your fault... llamas just aren't nice pets, you know.”

My baby cried for quiet a while, so I leaded him out of the line and tried to shush him, while Ricky hid his face in my chest.

Suddenly he raised his head, looking at me. He was still sobbing, but smiled. “I don't need a pet.”, he said. Huh? Why the sudden change of mind?

“You can be my pet.”, Ricky said grinning.

I hold him closer. “I will! Besides I'm really carefree.”, I promised.

Ricky smiled happily. “Love you, pet.”, he squealed. I'd do anything for my baby... but if he says this... I'm definitely gonna give my life.

“Love you, too, Changhyun.”, I said kissing his forehead.

I got that idea of the llama, because my neighboor is a bit of a weirdo and had bought one. Now when looking out of my window I can face the 'evilness in person'. No for real, there is this llama and hell this was so stupid. I just had to write something about it. And then my dad came up with the idea of it kept as a pet in the house. So see, how this came :)
