PROLOGUE

 “Finished,” Jonghyun let out a small sigh of relief. He had to pull another all-nighter just to finish his English essay. God, he groaned as he rubbed the back of his neck to relieve the tension that resided there. He knew he should read over his essay, but he didn’t care to check it right now, he couldn’t. Not with the way his eyes were drooping, trying to close.

With a glance at the clock he grimaced.

There was no time for sleep. His English class started in an hour.

Ding

His eyes followed the symbol of the earth with a fox around it on the bottom of his computer screen that was glowing orange. He grabbed the black mouse sliding it back as the cruiser hovered over the blinking square. As he clicked it his SM Student Connection account, a place for students to meet other students, popped up.

TheAlmighty wants to chat with you

His lips twitched upwards as he read the username. He tried to clear his blurry vision by squinting his eyes as he clicked the accept button.

TheAlmighty:  Good morning, Honey~ Did you sleep well?

DinoPuppy: Morning, Beautiful. I can’t really answer your question since I couldn’t sleep.

TheAlmighty: I know. I have that effect on people. ;P

DinoPuppy: Haha! Sorry to deflate your ego, but I have my final, an English paper that is due in less than an hour. :/

TheAlmighty: Did you get it done?

DinoPuppy: Yeah, but I’ll probably be docked off points for grammar issues. I at speaking English. -.- I just need to get a C- to pass. Pray for me. °-°

TheAlmighty: Send it to me. I’ll check it over while you’re getting ready. I’ll even send it to your email that way you can print it out when you get to the classroom. :)

DinoPuppy: Thank you! You’re the best!

DinoPuppy: Sent it. :) I love you~ ^3^

TheAlmighty: Stop wasting time here. You’re going to be late.

TheAlmighty: Love you too. ^Ɛ^

DinoPuppy: So… you’ll be on later tonight, right? Same time as usual?

TheAlmighty: Ya! >:o Leave already! You need to be there early to print out your paper!

Jonghyun ran his fingers through his short brown hair, shutting down the computer as he stood up from the oak desk and walked to his closet.

He had met the self-proclaimed Almighty online three months ago. It was on that same day that Jonghyun had finally decided to make an account. With just his student number and a screen name his account was made. He made the choice of keeping his identity a secret and not writing anything about his personal life on his wall. He didn’t want to have friends that would judge him based on what he looked like rather than who he actually was. And so he went searching. The website had a Friends Finder that matched people with the same interests. TheAlmighty was the third one on that list. He remembered seeing his icon and immediately became interested. He clicked on his page.

The first thing that popped into Jonghyun’s mind was, oh boy. The newest status TheAlmighty had posted was not only seconds before he had clicked on the man’s page, but it was also a long heated paragraph of how his boyfriend-uh I mean ex- was a douche bag who couldn’t keep his in his own pants and had broken his heart because he had seriously loved him. He didn’t understand how something so perfect could go so wrong.

If there was anything Jonghyun hated more than English it was when someone posted comments on how they were depressed or going to die because there so-called lover had left them.

It was after he finished reading the paragraph that he realized his fingers were tapping away at the keyboard sending the love-sick man a message.

DinoPuppy: After reading what happened between you and your boyfriend I decided you needed some help. I’ll give you a few insights on how come your relationship didn’t work out.

DinoPuppy: 1- It’s because your boyfriend isn’t a douche. Yes, he is dirty, but only because he is a man .

DinoPuppy: 2- You didn’t notice this because you were blinded by months of just judging him by (what I am guessing are) his superior looks before actually talking to him.

DinoPuppy: 3- Then when you actually got the nerve to confess you already created this world of how perfect he was and didn’t see the beast lying within.

DinoPuppy: 4- You see, you guys weren’t lovers; you were just another, another person he could .

DinoPuppy: Looking at your picture, interests, and your posts from before it’s his ing loss. It’s plain as day to see that you really cared for him with all the posts you dedicated to him. Anyone would be lucky to have you. So, don’t waste your tears on an . Save them for someone who cares.

After sending that message it took two days for the other boy to reply and when he did it shocked Jonghyun to no end.

TheAlmighty: Thanks

Just one word! One word was all it took for the brunette to never miss a day to chat with the man.

During the first week alone he learned a lot about the pink-loving man; he was majoring in dance, he’s trying to keep his Tae-baby’s innocence intact, and most importantly he liked to hear that he was right. Jonghyun had never been so happy to finally have him stop talking about his break up with his boyfriend. He had enough of the dramatic drama-filled relationship issues people had.

He had nearly pulled his hair out of frustration when two weeks later his best friend Minho practically came crawling to him saying that he had ‘let the love of his life slip between his fingers’. It would have all been okay that is if he hadn’t had heard this speech before. The first time this had happened with Minho, the brunette had hugged him tightly and cuddled with him until the morning. The second time, he was rubbing his friend’s back in the middle of a park with screaming children running around. By now, he figured out one thing: there is nothing a tub of ice cream can’t fix. That is why as soon as his best friend went back to his dorm room Jonghyun logged on to his account and messaged his new friend right away.

DinoPuppy: I have figured out the answers to all problems.

TheAlmighty: Hello to you too.

DinoPuppy: Aren’t you going to ask me what?

TheAlmighty: What is the answer to all problems, Dino?

DinoPuppy: There is no problem a tub of ice cream can’t fix.

TheAlmighty: Obesity.

A month and a few weeks later they began to date online.
