Author’s POV:

The two males were cutely cuddling on the couch happy to have their first day off with no schedules after weeks of promoting their new song “Shadow”. The other members were either out or napping; their leader had threatened them to stay out of his and the visual maknae’s way since the couple hadn’t spend time together, at least not without the others, for what felt like a century to the elder.

They were re-watching old episodes of the drama the heirs, which Yoseob was watching with great anticipation whilst most of Dujun’s attention was set on the younger. He smiled upon the different expressions his boyfriend pulled at each scene; it was more entertaining than the drama itself, in his opinion.

Yoseob’s eyes widened at the upcoming scene, Kim Tan was leaning in about to have his first kiss with Eunsang they were just inches apart noses almost rubbing against each other when –

“Yoseooooobie~” Dujun whined and pouted slightly, finally done staring and now prepared to get more attention from his beloved.

Yoseob let out a frustrated breath, slightly bothered by the interruption during such an intense moment but he should’ve seen it coming, as attention seeking as he was, his hyung wasn’t any better. However it all drained away once he turned to face Dujun, he just looked so incredibly adorable in that very moment Yoseob’s heart couldn’t help but melt at the sight.  He broke out into a smile and just leaned closer to peck the attention lacking male on the lips, instantly infecting him with that same smile.

Their eyes twinkled as they stared at each other in silence. Until Dujun pulled Yoseob closer against his chest hugging him tightly, as if he was afraid that holding him any looser would lead him to disappear into dust. “I love you so much.” He whispered as he planted a kiss on his forehead “so so much.” He moved down to kiss his nose. “More than I have ever and will ever love anything else in this entire universe” and finally, he released his grip around the young, now blushing boy, to leave a sweet kiss upon those (not so) innocent lips.

They remained like that, for a long time. Just in each others’ arms sharing a passionate kiss filled with love, their lips moulded together so perfectly. Nothing had ever felt as right for either of them as that very moment.

Neither of them wanted to break the kiss, but Yoseob had no choice but to push back gently and gasp for air. Dujun grinned happily noticing the faint blush on his breathless lover; he loved how their feelings for each other never wore out after all those years of dating. He was certain the butterflies would always remain.   

Yoseob’s blush darkened as Dujun nuzzled his nose against his cheek chuckling at his cuteness, he couldn’t help but allow those same words to escape his lips again “I love you.” Those same words that never lost their true meaning. Those same words which never failed to make the younger boy’s heart flutter.

Pressing his lips against his elder’s lips again he mumbles those same words in return: “I love you too.”

So they shared another passionate kiss, not going too far, nothing rough, just sweet and innocent; just like their love for each other (most of the time).

“If only there was a word greater than love for me to use to describe my feelings for you” Yoseob pulled back and said.

Dujun chuckled nudging Yoseob playfully, “then let’s make one! If Shakespeare can do it then why can’t we?”   

Yoseob tapped his chin in deep thought; he looked at his surroundings for inspiration. “... Tochi, no- ehm… expelliarmus…”

Dujun shook his head grinning entertained with the words his lover is suggesting. “Babe. First of, I said let’s make one. Secondly, do you even know what expelliarmus means? I must say, if you do I’m quite worried.”

“I just said my thoughts out loud!” He puffed out his cheeks moodily crossing his arms “at least I’m attempting coming up with something, I haven’t heard you make any suggestions..”

Dujun laughed wholeheartedly at how cute Yoseob was being, Yoseob pouted at this and whined “Dujunnieee, don’t laugh at me! I will expelliarmus your out of here.” Yoseob squinted his eyes threatening his elder.

“Alright, alright, calm down… I wasn’t laughing AT you. But to reply your previous statement I do have a suggestion.”  Dujun stopped laughing, now taking Yoseob’s hands in his own and looking at him with a more serious expression. Yoseob blinked at the sudden change of behaviour and sat up straight looking back into Dujun’s eyes.

“I… I dooseob you.” Dujun grinned cheekily at his own cheesy self. Yes, it was cheesy. But it made Yoseob’s heart melt. It so simple, yet so endearing. Using their own ship name as symbol of their love, as what they felt for each other was, to them, far more than just love. It was special, something they both treasured dearly. It wasn’t something anyone could lie about or deny.

They were soul mates.

They were-… sniffling could be heard.

Dujun blinked in confusion suddenly panicked, Yoseob had tears rolling down his cheek. “Y-yoseob?! I-I’m sorry did I… Was th-that…”

Yoseob shook his head quickly stopping his hyung from talking even more nonsense, he wiped his tears quickly and calm down so he could speak to put Dujun’s heart at ease. He hadn’t done anything wrong after all, he did the complete opposite.

“I… I dooseob you more.”

Dujun let out a relieved sigh collecting the emotional male in front of him in his arms holding him tight. He was someone he never wanted to let go of. He was the one who brightened his days and helped him see the light.

He meant the entire world to him, cross that the universe. The universe which is currently, as they, you and I are breathing, still expanding, just like their love for one another.

“I Dooseob you…

Because Dooseob is greater than love.”

Please bare in mind that this is my first oneshot fluff ever, and I've never written in this style.. so apologies if it's meh.

I kinda rushed the ending, so I'm not too content with it but overall I did what I could. Plus I haven't written in so long thanks to school so yup.

I appreciate feedback, I lack a lot as I writter but I really hope on improving.
