Hoya couldn’t help but smile a little when he silently looked down, taking in the scene of Myungsoo peacefully sleeping against him, the boy’s head softly lying across his lap. The boy softly snoring -- well, whistling as he slept, because unlike most people who snored, Myungsoo had this habit of softly whistling like a little kid who’s had a cold when he was asleep. The sound so soft and cute that Hoya couldn’t help but chuckle at how adorable the sound was, making Myungsoo even more endearing to his eyes.

A fact that really shouldn’t be possible, but when it came to Myungsoo, who had boyish features and a sweet, adorable dimpled smile, it would be impossible for him not to be as cute as he was. Especially since out of all the boys, more often than not, Myungsoo was just as cute as Sungjong, if not cuter, if for the pure fact that Sungjong was a lot stronger, independent, and manlier than many wanted to admit.

But with the boy being his best friend, Hoya had seen everything from the boy’s odd habits to how strong, independent, and not cute he could be. Especially since as soon as the boy got mad or showed disapproval, Hoya feared the boy, while with Myungsoo, he just looked like a cute, angry kitten that Hoya just wanted to pet the boy’s hair and kiss his troubles away. Something that Hoya didn’t want to do with anyone else but Myungsoo, even if Sungjong could be a cutie sometimes. But when compared to Myungsoo who was surprisingly cute and adorable despite his somewhat cold looking face when he didn’t smile, Hoya was pretty weak when it came to the other boy.

Softly rubbing his thumbs in circle along the back of the boy’s palm, the boy’s hand quite soft against his hold, Hoya felt warmth spread through his chest when the boy’s fingers lightly grasped his, making sure he wasn’t going anywhere, almost as if he was afraid that his sleepy cuddles would be enough to drive Hoya away. Something that could have easily been something that would have turned the older boy off, but with how hard Myungsoo tried to respect his personal space issues and keep his touching to a minimum, holding back for Hoya’s sake. An action that made Hoya like Myungsoo even more and indulge the boy with his need to touch, to be embraced, and feel those around him. The method of touch grounding him, of telling him that his friends and family were okay, and making him feel safe. An action that Hoya usually avoided when it came to others, but when it came to Myungsoo, he had constantly found himself doing the opposite.

Myungsoo always feeling warm and sturdy against him that Hoya found that hugging, cuddling, or anything that had to do with Myungsoo was something that he was actually okay with and didn’t mind as much as he did with the others.

Moving his other hand towards the boy’s head where Myungsoo’s short, recently dyed brown hair lied against his forehead, Hoya ran his hand through the boy’s hair. The gesture causing Myungsoo to sigh and grasp his other hand even tighter, nose twitching a bit before his face went lax with sleep.

The boy looked positively adorable, especially with the way he was curled up along the seat of the tour bus, blanket wrapped around his body as he took a much needed nap. Infinite going on a short trip to a nearby music festival that required them to take an RV type bus instead, Woollim CEO wanting to give them a new experience that other groups didn’t usually do.

(An experience that had easily made Sunggyu smile and ooze happiness that Infinite wasn’t used to, especially when Sunggyu gave off this kind of creepy smile, his imagination going wild. The concept of being on a tour bus so reminiscent to what American and European rock groups used made Sunggyu more than a bit cheerful. Almost too much so for a few of the boy’s sakes, especially Sungyeol and Sungjong who couldn’t help but give the older boy weird stares. While Myungsoo on the other hand just shared the excitement, being ultra cute with his hyung. So cute that Hoya had wanted to die and definitely did not steal the boy away from Sunggyu a few minutes later so that he could make out with the boy, smiling into the kisses they exchanged.)

Hearing a soft “Hoya?” come from the other side of the van, interrupting his thoughts, he noticed a few of the other members in similar states of peace. Woohyun was looking up from his book, a small smile on his face, with Sungyeol situated along his side,  head using the boy’s shoulder as a pillow, snoring lightly. A sound that Hoya definitely didn’t find cute, but was thankful that it wasn’t that loud or obnoxious like Dongwoo’s snores could be. The taller boy’s arms were lightly wrapped around the older boy’s chest, using him as if he was a stuffed animal, so far gone, that Hoya couldn’t help but flinch at the awkward positioning of the two.

But with the way Woohyun smiled and Sungyeol whispering sleepy Woohyun’s, the position must not have been as terrible as Hoya had thought.

While Dongwoo and Sunggyu were sleeping quietly in the back, holding hands and smiling a little in their sleep, Dongwoo using Sunggyu’s chest like a pillow, Hoya and Woohyun couldn’t help but smile at how cute the two looked. Sunggyu especially since it wasn’t often that the other let that sweet, adorable side of himself show in environments like this, usually too tired, too focused, or too busy to be as cute as the others could be. The two were basking in each other’s warmth and in their own little dream world, Hoya swore he could make out a dopey smile on Sunggyu’s face.

A smile that he knew Myungsoo would have taken a picture of if he hadn’t been asleep.

The two looked positively delightful together and if Hoya wasn’t taken by Myungsoo, he probably wouldn’t have been jealous of the two’s relationship and how sweet they looked. Especially Sunggyu who just seemed to soften under Dongwoo’s affection.

Looking back over to Woohyun who was still awake and somewhat engrossed in a book Key had lent him, Woohyun softly asked, “Has he been asleep long?”

“Yeah, he pretty much passed out as soon as he got on the bus. Sungyeol?”

Slightly chuckling at Hoya’s words because Sungyeol basically did the same thing, he answered, “Same thing. He’s pretty much been asleep since Sungjong beat him in whatever playstation game the two were playing a couple hours ago; he literally whined for about two minutes before passing out, too tired to even complain anymore than that. Must have been really tired.”

Now able to hear the soft sounds of a playstation game, something adventure related with the type of music that he could hear, Hoya was surprised that he had been able to tune it out pretty early on, he went to ignore it as he continued the conversation with, “Yeah, I guess that interview we had in the morning took a lot out of them, especially since Sungyeol usually never sleeps as deep as he’s doing now… Who knew the two would pass out after a measly Q and A session? And Dongwoo and Sunggyu? They’re just as bad, falling asleep almost as fast as these two.”

Laughing at Hoya’s words, Woohyun couldn’t agree more with the statement. Even though their schedules had been pretty busy lately, Myungsoo and Sunggyu taking the brunt of it with appearances and outside work that didn’t necessarily pertain to Infinite, but let them continue to get their name out there, proving to the world that they worked really hard, were respectable, and were very nice boys besides being quite talented as well.

“Pretty much, but at least Sungyeol and Myungsoo kind of have an excuse for their sleepiness with their late night k-drama marathon they had, while Sunggyu and Dongwoo were off doing who knows what.”

Giving a small grin at Woohyun’s words, nodding as he remembered how excited Myungsoo and Sungyeol had been when they had found out that a local TV station was playing reruns of Reply 1997, the two had went through all 16 episodes that night, barely getting an hours sleep before they had that interview that morning. The two going through a bucketful of popcorn, sour straw candy, and a lot of lemon-lime soda, the two had made a small pillow fort as they watched. Pillows and blankets were wrapped around the two as they softly cheered or booed for the characters, Myungsoo even going so far to cry a few times over Yunjae and Hoya’s character, Joonhee, even though Myungsoo had seen the show more than a few times. The younger boy claiming it as one of his favorites and rewatching it every so often when he couldn’t find a new drama to watch.

While Hoya and Woohyun had taken an early night and slept in their respective beds, while the others had done their own thing, Sungjong having a night with some of his girlfriends, while Dongwoo and Sunggyu did god knows what that night. But as soon as Hoya had seen the huge garbage bag and melon in the morning, he didn’t want to know what the two had been up to that night.

“Pretty much, but I swear, Dongwoo either rubs off on Sunggyu or Sunggyu makes Dongwoo even weirder than he is, so I’m pretty sure we don’t even want to know what they do. Could be scarring and whatnot.”

Grinning, Woohyun made a confirmed noise, before changing the subject, “So how did Myungsoo rope you into being his pillow? Usually you’re a lot more subtle about the PDA, even though Myungsoo literally lives and breathes it.”

Hoya could only give a shrug at the question, before asking his own, “What about you? Did Sungyeol use any secret aegyo on you to let him sleep like that, it almost looks as if he’s crushing you.”

“Nah, he just has this habit of wrapping his arms around people when he’s asleep. He can be just as bad as Myungsoo can be sometimes, but at least he’s cute about it, while Myungsoo’s like that awkward, needy kitten that always needs someone. It’s surprising how much you allow him to get away with all the touching, would have driven me insane if he constantly wanted to touch me all the time.”

Narrowing his eyes at the other’s words, he could only reply, “Hey, don’t start with that, you know how cute Myungsoo is and how it’s hard to deny that fact, especially when he uses those puppy dog eyes that he has. Barely anyone can say no to him when they’re centered on you and he’s looking all cute and stuff…”

Laughing at Hoya’s statement, only to give a cheeky grin, “Man, you are so whipped, it’s not even funny. The guy has you literally wrapped around his finger and you totally dig it… No wonder you let him hug the crap out of you, you love him~”

“Oh, shut up, you’re just as bad when it comes to Sungyeol too, so don’t you start with that ‘you’re so whipped’ crap when you’re just as whipped.”

Putting his arms up in a surrendering type motion, Woohyun could only give, conceding, “Yeah, that’s true, but have you seen the two, we were ered from the very beginning. We never had a chance.”

They really didn’t, but when you had someone like Myungsoo who looked at the world as he did, who smiled like he did, who tried his best in everything that he did, who never seemed to give up, and just had this cuteness and adorable air about him that made him impossible not to like and fall for, Hoya didn’t exactly mind being as whipped as he was. And he was more than sure that Woohyun felt the same way when it came to Sungyeol, his partner in crime, and one of the only people that actually got to see Woohyun in a certain light that Hoya was more than sure that he would never get to see.

Woohyun being rather selective to those that he allowed in, most likely only allowing one, maybe two people to actually see all the parts that made him -- well him, so Hoya didn’t take it to heart. Because just like Woohyun, Hoya was just as selective when it came to those he trusted and showing sides of himself that he only wanted those that he was extremely close to to see.

Hearing a "Mmm, feels-so good." from Sungyeol who had softly hummed as he had tightened his grip around Woohyun when the older boy rubbed his hair in a soothing gesture, Hoya couldn’t help but break out laughing, tears of mirth in his eyes.

While Woohyun could only cough at the sudden pressure as he tried to untangle himself from Sungyeol’s surprisingly strong hold or at least loosen it enough so that his ribs wouldn’t get crushed.

Sungyeol had been gaining quite a bit of muscle within the last couple of months and while Woohyun liked how buff and beautiful his boyfriend was getting, he didn’t appreciate being held like this. He had needs… Like breathing for instance.

"Does-does he know that he talks-in-in his sleep?" Hoya gasped out, laughter pouring from his chest.

"No-nope. Not going to t-tell him either." Woohyun gave with a cough, “B-but he might already know already and just d-doesn’t care.”

Only for Hoya to still for a second when Myungsoo muttered, “Stop moving, comfy,” while he snuggled against him, the gesture easily causing to shake Hoya from his laughter before filling him with a new barrage of happiness.

"I-I guess Myungsoo has the same problem, but we already knew that."

Hoya just shook his head in laughter, smile even brighter than before

Myungsoo really was too adorable for his own good, as was Sungyeol, even if the two were awkward children, Myungsoo just a tad bit more so. Even though the awkwardness did not take away from how cute the two could be, but enhanced it and made the two of them fall for the two even harder. The cuteness just adding to how attractive the two were as people, despite having the best looking faces of the group, minus Sungjong who was just too beautiful for his own good.

"Stop talking, sleeping." Another reply came from Sungyeol, only for them to hear a reasonable loud snore erupt from the boy before soft snores could be heard from the boy. The snore so loud that Hoya and Woohyun couldn’t help but break out in another round of chuckles, shoulders shaking as the two tried to keep quiet. Their stomachs almost hurting from the strength of their laughter, the need to breathe and control themselves being the only thing to keep them from keeling over and dying on their boyfriends.

Giving one last laugh and wiping a tear from his eye, Woohyun could only give, “I-I guess we better stop, I really need to finish this book and knowing Sungyeol, he’ll be crabby if he doesn’t get those extra hours of sleep, especially since I’m not going to be buying him coffee unless it’s decaf.”

Hoya could only nod with a grin, “Well, you signed up for it, he’s all yours you know.”

Woohyun just ignored the jab as he smile dreamily, “Yep, all mine,” before sobering up a little, “Just like Myungsoo’s is yours, even if you don’t like to admit it or how you try to be all cool about it. Sorry, but everyone knows how deep your love runs, it’s constantly written all over your face, it’s sickening.”

“Whatever Woohyun, you’re just as bad.”

Just giving Hoya a smirk, unaffected, Woohyun went back to his book, trying to lose himself within the words written in front of him again, while Hoya let himself look out the window, their conversation over for the time being until the group got closer to their destination. Hoya found himself focusing on the blurred lines of green and blue that passed them, soaking in the warmth of the red-orange sun.

Letting his fingers dance across Myungsoo' s hair, hearing his boyfriend hum in appreciation and feeling the tightening of the younger boy’s hold on his other hand once again; he couldn’t help but think about the world, their group, Myungsoo and his relationship with the boy, and everything else.

There was no denying it; he was definitely in a good place right now.

Chapter 1: This was just the cutest and most adorable and... just made me smile like BIIIIG!
And you know how much I adore Wooyeol as well, this is just perfect. The characterisation is on par. For something so fluffy and seemingly simple you have a lot of introspection. I like introspection, hidden depths and all that. I don't usually ship Hosoo because they don't fit together for me but this fic told me why I should ship Hosoo!

So well written and so fun and calming to read and so absolutely precious! <3

Did you know it's my birthday in 16 days and that I /really/ like Wooyeol? Just saying...
