"Forgive me Father, for I have sinned," the old priest said, kneeling on frail knees. He looked into the young man's eyes, begging for his mercy, for God above's. Time was running out. A boy watched the entire episode, concealed in the shadows.

   "My child, tell me your wrongdoings." The young man said, kneeling down to touch the piest's balding head. He, too, was wearing a cassock. It was 12 AM, and the church was closed down for the night.

   The old man smiled softly, coughing on his own blood, revealing grotesquely red teeth. "Wrongdoings?" he repeated. "I have let the devil in the house of God. His temple. My body. I have sinned, Father."

   "God has shined his divine light on you, made you repent. Through his eternal guidance, I cast your sin away from your soul. My child, God forgives you."

   The young man stood up. He pulled out a silver gun from inside his robes. The old man just kneeled there, somehow looking as if he anticipated this. "May the Blessed Lord above guide you to the right path to his Divine Son."

   He cocked his gun. "In the name of the Father." He steadied the weapon. "And of the Son." He aimed at the old man's head. "And of the Holy Spirit." He pulled the trigger.

   "Amen."

   The priest's body collapsed on the marble floor, his weight collapsing. 

   The hidden boy emerged slowly, fearfully. "W-what did you do to him?" he whispered loud enough for the young man to hear.

   "I simply cast away the devil in his body," he answered bluntly. He stowed away the weapon he had, clutching a silver rosary in its stead.

   "You-- Who are you?" the young man said, petrified beneath the pillar.

   The man simply walked towards him. His gait was calm and serene, as if he hadn't murdered an old priest about a minute ago.

   "I'm the Bishop."
