Wide eyes, Jinhee was still in daze. L shook his head.

She was so eager just now.

L decided to wake up the dreaming girl. He aimed his finger at her forehead and flicked her, hard. Seriously, this guy needed to control his strength.

Jinhee let out a yelp as she rubbed her forehead.

L smirked in victory.

Still, Jinhee was still in daze even she got the flick just now. Did L words really affect her that much? Her heart was surprisingly beating faster than usual. Her hands suddenly began to sweat. L stared at the girl beside him in disbelief before smirking again.

Just like that, Jinhee lifted her head and looked up at him. Her eyes met his and immediately she let out an awkward cough.

She somehow hoping that she heard it wrong but half of her secretly want that she didn’t hear it wrong. Realizing what had she just thought just now, she mentally slapped herself.

Before L could opened his mouth again, Jinhee immediately spoke up.

“Oh look. Our experiment is done. Better finished the report now”, she exclaimed and pointed to the apparatus in front of them.

L looked at her for a second before turning to the front and following her actions. From the corner of her eyes, Jinhee could see that L has begun writing.

She exhaled a relief sigh, as silent as she can.

The surrounding around those two suddenly became silent.

She looked beside her and noticed that their shoulder almost touched. She slowly scooted further from him which L noticed it.

She let out a relief sigh for the umpteenth time and finished her last sentences. Putting away the pencil, she then was taken aback when suddenly someone took her paper away.
