I walked right into the pub, alone

Well, I always am.

I sat and ordered a bottle of Martini, and suddenly I noticed

A guy, I bet he’s 2 or 3 years older than me, sitting right next to me

And he’s alone

I took a glance at him, and he noticed

He smiles.

That smile

It contains a thousand butterflies, bottles of wine, a bunch of charisma, and 312874385tablespoon of sugar. He’s sweet, handsome, and charismatic at the same time

I smiled back, he smiles even wider, my heart’s pounding

Is it love at first sight?

‘are you alone?’ he finally spoke

‘well, yeah. I like being alone’

‘it’s Saturday night. You shoulda hangout with your girlfriend or friends’ he said. and he smiles again

‘first, I like guys. Second, I’m single. Third, as I said, I like being alone. And fourth, we just met and you dare telling me what to do? Geez’ I rolled my eyes

He grins, ‘sorry’

‘well me too’ he said again.

I rose my eyebrows. ‘what’s with me too?’

‘I like guys too’ he looks at me. ‘but somehow I like girls too. I’ve had a relationship with some es when I was in college and they’re really really annoying. I decided to broke up and life freely’

I blinked. ‘how do you started liking guys?’

He laughs, ‘shall we talk about it?’

I shook my head ‘n-no… I don’t want to know either’ I started to pour my drink into a glass, and drank it.

‘well, my name’s doojoon. How about yours?’ he smiles at me and gives his right hand

‘I’m dongwoon, 24 years old. I like butterflies and spring. Oh, I love pizzas too’ I said as I shook his hand.

He laughs again, ‘a handsome and mysterious guy like you liking such a thing like butterflies? That’s cute!’

I rolled my eyes, ‘what’s wrong with it. They’re cute.’

He shook his head and stopped his laughter, ‘I’m 27, if you’re wondering how old am I’

And I just nod.

 ‘well since you like pizza, let’s go to the Italian restaurant near my house. I’ll treat you’

‘it’s 10 pm..’ I said.

‘it’s 24 hours. C’mon!’ he grab my wrist and dragged me out of the bar.

It’s cold outside since it’s winter. We walked side-by-side, And suddenly  he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I shocked and glanced at him.

‘what’s wrong?’ he said

‘we just met and you treat me like we’ve been bestfriends for years. What’s wrong with you?’

He smiles, ‘nah, you seems good to me and I want to be close with you’

Well, I don’t bother about it either. Since he’s handsome and kind of protective guy which is my type.

‘it’s here’ he dragged me into the restaurant and took a private 2 seat in the corner which has a nice view of the whole city, since it’s a mountainous city and we’re on top of it. And I love the view. It’s kinda romantic.

‘choose your order as much as you want’ he said, and I blinked ‘r-really?’ he just nod.

I called the waitress and ha, he doesn’t know I eat a lot. I ordered a large pan of American favourite pizza, a portion of chicken wings, and a big glass of coke. He just ordered lasagna and fanta.

After writing down our orders, the writer walked away.

Silence.

‘you’re goddamn skinny and has good body but you eat a lot’ he spoke.

‘I workout’ I said as I watch the view through the window.

‘well, you’re single right’ he said and I stare at him, and just nod ‘yeah, right. Why?’

‘let me be your boyfriend for tonight’ he said.

And I’m like wtf is wrong with this guy. But he’s hot and handsome and kind and older than me and he’s my type and he treated me pizza tonight.

‘why?’ I asked him.

‘I’ve never been in relationship with a guy before. And I wanted to try’ he grabbed my right hand, and played with my fingers ‘is it ok?’ he asked me again.

I sighed,

‘as I know, to build a relationship at least both person need to know each other well, their good and bad stuffs, so they’ll get along well.’ I said.

‘ok. I’m gonna tell you what’s good and bad in me and you have to tell me what’s yours. Ok?’ I blinked a few times and just nod.

He told me that he has a phobia of clowns and cockroach. I laughed so hard

He loves to watch horror movies

He likes going to the amusement park

He really told me what’s good and bad in him. And I told him what’s good and bad in me too.

Hey, I’m kinda interested with this guy.

‘ok’ I smiled ‘i.. I think it’s enough’ I told him

The waitress came bringing all the food that we ordered

We ate, sometimes we talk while eating

We laughed so hard at jokes that we made

I never felt so happy like this before.

I finished eating. He stopped eating too

‘feel so full, eh?’ he asked me

‘uh huh’ I tapped my belly ‘I might get fatter after this’ he chuckled

He chuckled, showing his beautiful white teeth and masculine face muscles

I must be in love with him

‘heh.. so how? Can I be your boyfriend tonight?’ he asked me again

‘dude, it’s 12am. You have no time left.. if you want just for tonight’ I looked at him

‘well,’ he pulled both of my hand ‘what about until this morning? Would you?’

‘a..alright..but-‘

‘yeah! Let’s go home. Go to mine, of course. You’ll sleepover tonight. It’s late at night and I’ll drive you home tomorrow. You don’t bother, right?’ he sounds so excited

I smiled.

He knew how to make me happy

‘go pay the food and let’s go’. Then, he called the waitress, paid the bill, and this time, I pulled his hand and walked out.

His house located 2 blocks from the restaurant. Not too far

As we walked down the street he smiled, not saying anything, and wrapping his hand around my waist

I did the same

I felt the warmth of him

I love him.

We finally arrived at his home. It’s located in the corner, on the top of the city, and really, really big.

He must be very rich.. (((what am I thinking.))))

We walked in

It’s an minimalist-european-modern type house, has pool and mini forest in the back of the house, and it’s all wooden

I was amazed to death that my jaw dropped.

I’m sitting in the living room

‘want some juice?’ he walked in as he brought two glass of orange juice

He sat beside me

‘thanks,’ I said

Silence.

‘I’m an architect. I’ve been living here since 3 years ago and yes, I’m alone, if you’re wondering’ he smiled

‘oh….’ I mouthed an o, and nodded

‘honey..’ he called me. ‘aren’t you sleepy?’ he said as he carress my check

‘n-no…’ I said nervously

‘I can tell, you’re sleepy. Let’s go’ he pulled my hand to the upstairs

To his room, exactly

And once again I’m amazed.

It’s really really big room that has big window, showing the view of the city. The room is divided into 3 parts.

First, it’s like a working area. In the corner it has some musical instrument such as guitar and piano. Also a set of drum

Second, in the middle, it’s a cozy place with sofas that facing the window

And the last, in the corner, the bed beside the walk-in closet. And it’s really big

At least it’s enough for both of us.

‘you play instruments’ I said

‘uh huh’

‘sing me a song’ he nodded. I sat on the sofa, looking at him

He brought his guitar and sat beside me

‘listen.’ He smiles. I watched him carefully. He started strumming his guitar

He finishes singing. I smiled, amazed, eyes sticking to his as he comes closer

His face’s an inch away from mine

I close my eyes, and our lips brushed

We’re kissing.

Thousand butterflies flying in my stomach.

His lips’ soft and thick, and it fits mine

Our kiss was soft, filled with much love. And we enjoy the kiss

I finally pulled away and catch my breath

‘w-wow..well done, doojoon..’ I felt embarrassed yet happy and I also felt my cheeks were getting red.

‘hey you’re blushing’ he giggles and put down his guitar

‘come here’ he called

I came closer to him. He suddenly wrap his arms around my waist, pulled me on top of him, and my back lovingly

He smiled for the n’th time tonight. ‘baby you’re sleepy.. let’s change and sleep, ok?’ my mind was blank and I just nod

He walked into his closet, took an oversized shirt and a boxer, walked to me, and gave that pair of clothes.

‘go change in the bathroom’ and I did

As I came out from the bathroom he already changed and lying on his bed. ‘you’re done, dongwoon? Come here’ as he tapped the pillow beside him

I walked into him, lied on the bed, and he pulled me into a hug

I stare right into his eyes, he did the same

‘goodnight, dongwoon’ he kissed the tip of my nose and shut his eyes

He drifted to sleep as quick as that

‘goodnight, doojoon’ I replied

He haven’t told me that he loves me

I can’t sleep. I stare into the ceiling all the night

He already change positions since he fell asleep

It’s 4am and I’m still awake

He might be realizing this and opened his eyes

He stares at me with his sleepy eyes

Gosh he looks real y like that.

‘you haven’t sleep yet’ and pulled me on top of him, and wrapped me with his arms

‘it’s 4am, dongwoon’

‘yeah’ I said. To be honest, I felt so comfortable like this and I just want to sleep in his embrace

‘it means, it’s already morning right’ he said

I replied, ‘uh..yeah. earlybird?’

He sighs, hugged me even tighter ‘does it also mean my time’s over? You’re no longer mine?’

No. I want you forever.

‘I don’t know doojoon..’ I answered confusedly

He kissed my cheek ‘I know you’re waiting for me to say this this since last night’

‘I love you, dongwoon’ and he smiled. I froze and didn’t say anything

‘I know this might be really fast. It’s only 6 hours or a little bit more since we first met. But I’m in love with you, dongwoon. I wanna be yours, and I want you to be mine forever. Not just one night or until the morning. Do you understand dongwoon? Do you know how I feel? Do you feel the same, baby?’

‘I… me too doojoon. I do feel the same. And I know, it’s too fast but yeah, I love you too, and as you said, I want you to be mine forever and I wanna be yours forever’ I finally answered.

He cupped my face, and he kissed me again.

Just slightly, but it means everything.

We stared at each other, smiling, and he whispered sweet nothings.

I really in love with this guy.

Not realizing that it’s 6am.

‘hey, when will you go home? So I can prepare and drive you home’

‘not this morning. I want to enjoy my morning with you’

He smiled. I walked into the sofa, facing the window.

‘I was thinking to move here so I can stay forever with you’ I said and giggled

‘hehe, I’m joking’

He walked to me, brought me into his embrace, kissed the top of my head, and I close my eyes.

‘if you want to then it’s ok, I don’t bother at all’ he smiled

‘yah, I’ll think about that later. Told you I was joking’ I punched his stomach slowly

Silence, we just stared at the window and said nothing.

‘look dongwoon, butterflies’ doojoon said as he pointed right into two butterflies, flying above the flowers outside the window.

‘yeah, they’re cute right?’ I said as I smile.

‘uh huh’ he nod. ‘they’re celebrating us, don’t you think so?’

‘well yeah’

He laughs and hug me tighter. I wanted to stay like this forever.

I could never been happier than this

I love him so much, forever and always.
