Foreword
"i’m home," taemin says, closing the door behind him.
"welcome home, taemin-ah," jinki’s warm voice greets him immediately, but he frowns when he gets a good look at the other; taemin looks tired, bags under his eyes as he drags his body into the living room. yet still, the taller visibly brightens at the sight of his boyfriend waiting for him, a happy smile on his face as he comes close enough to plant a kiss on the elder’s cheek. jinki pulls him into his arms in response, holding him close. "you look terrible."
taemin chuckles, burying his nose in the crook of jinki’s neck. “i know,” he replies, biting his lip. there used to be a time when he only reached the elder man’s chest—now he had to lean down, and it made him bubble with happiness. he rested his fingers on jinki’s waist, comfortable, familiar, tightening his hold when he feels jinki press a kiss to his ear. with a mischievous smirk, he slips his hands into jinki’s back pockets and s for all that he’s worth. “but you always make me feel better.”
