Prologue

Interviewer: So Ms Gong and Mr. Kim, both heir and heiress of promising company and a controversial and talk of the town couple, everyone is talking about how the two of you are perfect for each other, what can you say about that?

Minji: it’s overwhelming,

Jong In: They are right; we are perfect for each other.

I: sorry to ask this, but how about the, you know, the wedding fiasco with Lee Taemin.

Minji: I think, after long years of being engaged to each other, we find us, Taemin and me, loving other person.

Jong In: Taemin is a good guy, he help us to end up with each other.

I: it’s odd right because the two of you are already married, but there’s no wedding and, Ms. Gong is not being called Mrs, Kim and plus the fact that you’re not in the same roof, why is that? And are there difficulties in that set up?

Minji: in all honestly, there are really difficulties with this set up, but we decide to reach our goals first before settling, and I want to be known on my own name, not because I’m married to Kim Jong In, a young rising businessman, and about being married, umh.. it’s like committing him to myself, and only to myself because I don’t know how can I live without him

Jong In: as she said, there are really lots difficulties, but we’re really young to settle and build a family, and I can understand her reasons, and we really need to establish ourselves first right, being married to her, I can assure myself and her that we’re committed to each other.

I: the two of you are just together for a short time; do you think you can make it to forever?

Jong In: Yes

Minji: Of course

‘You’re reading that?” asked by Jong In as he is driving Minji to her shop, well it’s not that Jong In doesn’t  like the interview they agreed to answer, but it is just the first time that they share their thoughts in public

It’s almost a year ago since their relationship started; the two of them are really getting along, Minji achieving her goals while Jong In taking over his families’ business, people are very fond of their love story.   

“Jong In, do really think we can do it to forever?” she asked, well.. it’s not as if she’s wavering and a year is not really a short time but the fact that as they go on each other’s path, hindrances and obstacle also come along.

Jong In just squeeze her hand, knowing what she’s been worrying about,

“Of course, we just need to be strong right?” he said with a smile, but the truth, he is also questioning himself if they can really make it, it’s not that his love is already fading but Minji deserve so much,  and what if he is not the one for Minji? What if she deserves someone better?

 Then he remembered the conversation months ago

*flashback*

“No wedding?” asked by Baekhyun to the two of them as they are now eating a breakfast, it has been a month since that wedding fiasco,

“Well, at least we’re committed to each other” Jong In said nonchalantly and chews the food inside his mouth,

“Umh.. what Jong In said is right, I mean.. we’re too young to be in one roof, and besides, knowing this friends of yours, I might be pregnant before I know it” Minji said bluntly that cause an uproar of laugh between Chanyeol and Baekhyun while a choke for her loving husband Jong In..

“but you’re still married right?” asked by Chanyeol where they nod as a respond..

“what if the two of you is not for each other? Are you going to file a divorce?” it’s Baekhyun turn to be blunt, and the once delicious food on their mouth became poisonous that choked her.

That blunt question actually caused a deafening silence.. w/c Jong In happily break..

“Well.. I don’t think so.. because we already overcome challenges to be mismatched”  he said with an assuring smile and squeeze Minji’s hand, Minji smiled to him, trusting him that he is really her destiny..

“But are those challenges are that worst for you say that the two of you are really for each other?”

And that question made them think so much.
