The Progression of Madness...

Description

There was a reason Sungmin liked this time of night the best. People became so oblivious under the shroud of dusk. The darkness hid their blemishes, scars, and shame and allowed them to get all wrapped up in their own boring lives, money, gossip, arrogance, and sin. They practically became blind. None of them ever noticed how closely and casually they were being watched.

They were basically just asking to be preyed upon.

I decided to try something a little different. Again this was inspired by some photos of the boys at an event show. It'll be fairly short. It's mostly finished and just needs some editing.

This is also my first time writing Sungmin. Everyone will be out of character considering the theme of this story.

Foreword

It had just begun to snow.

"I have a taste for something sweet." A young man said.

It was a perfect and beautiful night to go hunting.

"Siwon--!" The younger man suddenly gasped as he stopped abruptly. His eyes glazed over, lids dropping almost closed while his nostrils flared. He enhaled deeply, breath not frosting despite the cold. Then he pointed.

"There."

Siwon leaned in, just resting his his chin on the other man's shoulder in a familiar but subtly affectionate gesture.

"Easy now, Sungmin..." He whispered in a gentle warning.

"Him. I want him." Sungmin said and pointed again in the direction of one of the many small shops with it's door wide open.

Siwon's eyebrows went up slowly, knowingly. "Ah. The Music Box Maker's son." He hummed fondly. "Kyuhyun Cho. He is--"

"Mine now," Sungmin purred. Then he bit his bottom lip hard. Blood welled up slowly, staining his lip before he it and the fresh wound away.
