Hey! Maybe I should introduce myself first.
I’m just a normal teenage girl like many of you out there. I’m attempting to write a fanfic, so I hope everyone will support me and enjoy this plot I made up!
Oh! And I think I should say this earlier, I’m pretty lazy, so please forgive me if I update slowly, but I will try my best. /pinky promise/
This is my first fanfic starring my biggest ship, Minah and N. I can promise you that after this fanfic, you will become a huge shipper as well!
Bang Minah was a normal looking girl… no scratch that, in Hallyu High, no one looked normal. Every student and every teacher was dressed in the most stylish and newest clothing. Except Minah.
Don’t get it wrong though. Minah was not always like this. When she first started attending Hallyu High, she immediately became popular. She was always popular, even before she started elementary school.
Maybe it was just in her blood because her sister, who has already graduated and gotten accepted into Juilliard, was the queen as the students like to call it.
No one knows why, but half-way through freshman year, she changed.
Minah was no longer that out-going, bubbly, and loud girl. Not even her best friends, Yura, Hyeri, and Sojin, knew what happened to her.
The students began to think she was a loser. Little by little, but quickly, students who majored in art, like her, started to leave the art department. Until only Minah and her best friend, Yura, were left. The students of the art department were all considered as losers.
Students began to question why the popular Queens of the school hung around with Minah and Yura. And students started to think that those times when she was popular were rumors. Minah began to think. Maybe it wasn’t so bad that she became like this.
Who knew people were so shallow.
No one tried to ask her what was wrong. She held a story, a secret, that no one knows about.
And her world got quieter than it ever was.
Until a certain guy who transferred with his 5 other brothers came to her school. His name was Hakyeon. Cha Hakyeon.
The moment he stepped into the classroom. His wandering eyes stopped on Minah.
Was it possible that the new king had an interest on the dethroned Queen? That girl that the students began to hate? That girl who the people thought was a loser? The girl that students forgot she ever was the queen?
Will it be like a Cinderella story? Or is there something deeper?

HER: BANG MINAH
AGE: 17
Minah was not a poor student like the other students think.
They think she received a scholarship to come to this school because she is a top student in all her academic subjects.
Ha. They don't even know who they are messing with.
Minah is the daughter of the CEO of the biggest shopping mall in Gangnam. Her dad owns multiple clubs and he is also the principal of this school.
If he ever found out about how Minah was treated in school, things will go down the drain in a snap of a finger.
She was daddy's little girl. Minah got whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted it.
But he was never physically around anymore. After her mother died, she was always sick, he dedicated himself into work. Not that he doesn't love her as much as he used to. He still does.
It was fine at first, but soon, her only sister, Bang Hyuna, left to New York for college at Julliard. Now, it was only her and the mansion.
Being alone for so long made her change. And she also hid a secret from the others. Something she fears that people would find out about.
Her world was so quiet. Her world was so dead. Until he came into her life.
HIM: CHA HAKYEON
AGE: 17
Cha Hakyeon wasn't a mean person, but he was full of charisma. But he hates when people will not stop flocking around him and making so much noise.
Especially those fangirls. Yeah. Those are the people he doesn't like.
His world is already noisy enough.
Have you have wanted to know what was going on in someone's mind? Hakyeon has the answer for that. Never. Never should you want to read someone's mind. You'll never have peace and quiet.
Guessed it already? Yup. He can read people's minds.
He wasn't born with it. It happened suddenly on the day he saw his mother being killed right in front of his eyes. Never did he feel so worthless. He was only 9.
Hakyeon and his mother were at home and she was getting dinner ready. His younger brothers, Wonshik, Sanghyuk, Taekwoon, Jaehwan, and Hongbin, were out at the park with their father.
The door bell rang. His mother wiped her hands on her apron and went to open the door. "Who is it?"
Young Hakyeon sneaked into the kitchen to take a bite of the delicious food she was making. When he was about to make a grab for the ddeokbokki, he suddenly heard a slap and a scream that sounded like his mother's voice.
Hakyeon walked quietly over near the door.
"Why are you doing this?" His mother wailed under the tight grip of the stranger. The stanger said nothing but only, "Because you left me for that man." And with that, he stabbed her in the heart.
The stanger didn't say it. But Hakyeon heard it...somehow.
The man didn't know there was someone else in the room.
Hakyeon hated the man. The murder of his mother. And the one who gave him this curse to read minds.
Hakyeon and his brothers were sent to the USA for their studies by their heartbroken father before coming back to graduate in Korea, his home.
His world got a lot louder.
But he found some sort of peace in his heart when he saw her.
And he was willing to solve the puzzle that was her.
OTHER CHARACTERS:
Minah's best friends (from left to right) : Yura, Hyeri, Sojin.
Hyeri and Sojin are the two Queens of Hallyu High, while Yura is considered a loser like Minah for being in the art department.
I mean. Just look at how different the two of them look from Yura.
