I know I just released two albums in two straight years, but why not start writing even more songs?  I’ve already written so much anyways, they’re no problem at all. 

But…

Who would have thought that this little song that I just wrote would become a title track for someone else?  A song that was originally rejected because it was meant to be sad. 

A song that Hyun Suk hyung thought the lyrics hinted too much towards someone.

How would he know?  I mean, he’s correct in the sense that the song was based off someone, but still.  Why rejected for me, but if Teddy hyung tweaks the lyrics a bit and our 2NE1 girls sing it, it’s approved on the spot. 

I’m happy and all for 2NE1 for getting, in my opinion, a badass title track, but no crediting?  No mention of my actual creation of the song?

Sigh.  Don’t you realize that when you left, you took my heart with it?  You also left me clinging here at the end of the world, waiting for you to come back and save me?

I hate you for not answering

I can’t see ahead, I’m so scared

The many days that are unfinished

It seems like they’ll be waiting for us

Even though you asked to remain friends, you’ve done nothing to keep that request.  No hellos.  No how are you doing.  No answering my calls.

Without you, I’m blinded.  You were the one person who made me happy for tomorrow.

But now those days are over and done with.  I’m waiting for you, but you’re so far away.

The only thing left here is your shadow

My longing for you tortures me more than my loneliness

Seems like I can catch the sound of your laughter


But the moments weakly scatter like a sand castle

Your shadow.  The remembering of your presence that tortures me more than being alone itself.  Your distinct laughter remains like a memory as well, but the rest of our moments together have ran away like yourself.

Every night, I get nightmares

Even in my dreams, I call out your name

In a time where everything changes, the one thing that doesn’t change

These nightmares I have, you’re never there, and that is why they are nightmares.  I call out your name, hoping to dream of you.  And no, I’m not your queen.  They changed that to fit 2NE1 better.  But you were my queen.  And that will never change.
