So, hi, notebook. Or diary. Or journal. Or... ah, goddamn it. Fine. I won't call you - and whatever this is I'm doing - any name. The whole 'Dear Diary' thing really isn't my style.

How do you even do this? Jesus... Can't believe I talked myself into buying you earlier in the store. Never in the 24 years I graced this world with my presence have I done this. But it's the new year today... you know, new beginnings and stuff like that. That's why I'm here.

I don't know talking to a notebook will help. It seems to help her though. I think it does. So maybe you can help me like how her diary helps her too.
