"It'll be okay." he assured, looking me in the eye and my head.

 

"'Cause nothing can stop us, I promise. We'll have a little gyu and not even the fans can stop us. You know why? 'Cause our little gyu is gonna be cute like me, and there's no way they won't like him."

 

"Yah, Kim Sunggyu." I blurted the only words I could think of, partly at a lost for words at his sincerity but also wanting to reprimand him for his huge ego.

 

"His heart is gonna be as big as his mommy's too, if that makes you feel better." he added rather teasingly, obviously trying to lighten my mood.

 

"It doesn't really," I responded flatly.

 

"Don't be like that." he murmured in my ear, wrapping his arms around me from behind. "I promise we'll work something out together."

 

He held up his hand, with his pinky stuck out, nudging me to do the same. I obliged, after a moment, hooking our little fingers together tightly. Begrudgingly, a smile had crept onto my face.
